Rules? Like "no burnouts" or "no speeding"? Or what?

Yeah, but they enforced them selectively!
Oh well, all in all I guess it was fun. It would have been much more fun if I hadn't gotten kicked out!

Damn, the rules were so easy, why does everybody complain?!
§1. No burnouts, 100EUR fine, you have to clean the asphalt and you get kicked out (8.00 - 22.00)
§2. Burnouts are ok, but just one at a time (22.01 - 2.00)
§3. Burnout are not ok, because they ruin the asphalt (2.01).
You get kicked out. Or you park your car behind a van and stay.
§4. Driving around at high speeds is OK if people are around, but not if the field is empty. You get kicked out.
§5. At the Geiger Festival some weeks ago in the same place burnouts and even eighth mile racing was OK, because it didn´t ruin the asphalt.
§6. Everybody (drunk) beats everybody (drunk) up and kicks everybody out. But you have to wear a white t-shirt to do this.
§7. Anncouners have to talk all the time and make the whole contest last hours, even though they know a "He said POOP" about f-bodies, for example. (I´m so happy that i own a "very light" car, "a corvette with 4 seats", the "penis enlargement of modern times"...)
The event was fun, i meet some new people there, we drank beer, bbqed, talked "He said POOP", took photos of girls on cars (just Salverson), it was OK.
But to be honest, RaceWars is better (not only from the party-aspect) and more relaxed.
My theory is, if too many germans with too many american cars meet in one place it attracts also too much idiots, rednecks and wannabees (you can measure that tendency by counting the number of cars with highjackers and underfloor neons).

we spent a very nice weekend. tho the coolest thing was not the show, but meeting and cruising with y'all. we met on friday afternoon at lara's diner with Jack, Jerry & Linda and drove together to Munich where we met Nick. Then it was a lot of fun cruising around Munich looking for an Esso and passing the cops with opened cutout (Jack, thanks for the cover *g*). at the show we met some more nice ppl and had alotta fun & sun.

Chris, I guess I should have read the rules before I went!
Vadim, it was nice meeting you and Monika. I hope to see you guys again soon. And you're certainly welcome for the "cover"!

@ Jack,
Are you going to Eisenach this weekend? I know you are getting tired of driving all over Germany.

Don,
I definitely want to, but I think my wife would get upset if I did. She has to take a friend to the airport on Saturday, so she wouldn't be able to accompany me. If I don't, I will definitely be there next month.

Congrats on Mike for the Cup he won
We might come to Eisenach too, but my car's so low at the moment bcoz of the cutout and it almost rips it off in some places. I have an appointment on Monday to get that fixed but I'll try it by myself too ...

Cool Deal! Third place in the New Era catagory. Even though it was raining when the announcer got to me, we know he talks to much. Thanks for the rules Chris. I guess they didn't apply when my 19 year old chaffeur did burn outs for me at 0300! I had a blast and it was cool to meet new Fbody fans, Candyman-way nice ride dude. Alex that is one sweet "SS" you got. I will definately be at Race Wars, only Sat. in the PM. I definately miss that atmosphere. The clutch almost fried on the way back to Bamberg. I got the old one out tonight. Getting the flywheel machined tomorrow and hopefully put back in tomorrow or Wednesday.
Jerry/Linda....nice improvements to the 'maro, I like the competition.
Nick.../ your welcome to stay with me if you want to come down for Bike and Music week on Friday night and roll to Race Wars on Sat.

We had a great time also. Just got home a little while ago. Did some sight-seeing in Munich on Monday and went to Trader Vic's for a wonderful dinner and drinks. Drove home today and stopped by Dachau on the way. Hope to see everyone again soon.
Congrats Mike. Good Job!!!!
