I could cry...
after all the work and the starter finally in -
everything looked good and I thought I could get the Camaro running...
Then Rick found the crack in the block.
So that leaves the Corolla only for Bitburg.

Sorry to hear that. On the bright side now you can build up a mega HP motor to put in it's place!!!

Sorry to hear about the engine. Did that starter work on your engine?

No, the new one which came in on Monday did fit.
But good that I had both, now I learned what the difference was.
I will give your starter back at Bitburg.
And thx anyhow.
So my goal is to find another car (street legal) and another block (to build a bad a** racing car) now.

Just wait and see maaybe Hawk will blow a head gasket and you can get his block. I'm sure he'd let you have it for cheap.

Thanks. Wish I could beat up the guy sold it to me.
The statement was: If starter works engine will be running.

Did he say for how long? I'd give it back to the seller ... after all, you have another 2 months to find another one for the next race at Bitburg ...

wanted to race at Drachten also and at least get an idea on time and some little camaro driving skills before then... so far I have none, but thats where it counts for the championship. The Corolla, they don't have an index OSL5 or OSL7... it's not worth to even go there with it.
Feel like s*** now.

Yeah I know. But I still like it, just because it has been my car since the last four weeks. And what I've got once I can't give up that easy. I'm just not that type of person. It will be running one day. (You may call me hardheaded).
