not sure if Howie will be racing this weekend. His clutch is gone and the new one hasn't arrived yet. I think he's gonna try and put his gears in this week though. Is this the Festival of Speed? Please say it isn't...he'll be really upset if he can't race his car then. He's been wanting to race a viper.

u think? Even with his clutch slipping the way it is? Do you know when the Festival of Speed is by any chance? I thought that it was usually in August. I'll talk to Howie. He keeps saying that he isn't gonna race since he's been having some problems with it, but I know him better than that.

I plan to be there. I am going to thrash all day friday on the car to get the clutch in there. I dont know if I will run it or not, depends on the break-in on the clutch and how it feels. I dont feel like throwing another one in so soon. I would love to beat a viper.

Let us know if you are heading to bitburg, so we could go as a group. We could probably meet at Bonnie's diner.

Whatever you do, don't meet up with john anywhere because he will get lost guaranteed.j/k

Don't think there is any Festival of Speed anymore. Not in Bitburg. The word I heard up there was they did not play the rules, exceeded the noise level and got no approval by the officials/city anymore.
That is why it was very difficult for any other dragracing to get the place.

Yes, that was after the last years race.
So there is none this year.

well, with the POS timing equipement, it doesn't hurt, apart from some of the nice cars that came ...
