Hey Guys and Gals! I've not been around the board much because I've been in rehearsals for my play...which is why I'm posting this. We open this Friday night at 8pm, and although I know Bitburg is this weekend, I thought I'd let you know. Here's the schedule:
Friday, 20Sep, 8pm
Saturday, 21Sep, 8pm
Sunday, 22Sep, 2pm
Thursday, 26Sep, 8pm
Friday, 27Sep, 8pm
Saturday, 28Sep, 8pm
Sunday, 29Sep, 2pm

The play is a comedy titled June Groom, and my part is that of the groom's bride (and oh yes, Rob is just thrilled with that...). The location is an old movie theatre on Harvey Barracks in Kitzingen. If you're interested drop me a line and I can give you directions. Tickets are $7/adults and $5 for students and kids. I would love to see an FBE contingent there one night...I could always use some hecklers! Any non-IDcardholders interested, let me know and I'll see about signing you in.

Paula :)

Thank God for Silke! I was beginning to worry that this posting would end up at the bottom of the page! If you want to drive all the way here, we'll be happy to let you stay overnight! Let us know. It would be awesome to have a bunch of people from the board here for the show. Wow!

Paula :)

Can I bring my daughter?
And I need a few more directions.
Thinking about Saturday, maybe
Friday night.
ID is not a problem, just need to
know where to go.

Hey Silke, sorry it's taken me so long to get back here. Your daughter is welcome to the show...the poster says kids over 6 years old only, but she's older than that, right? Okay, are you familiar with Kitzingen? I looked up directions from Pirmasens on mapquest.com...here they are:
http://www.mapquest.com/directions/euro ... h=&x=0&y=0
Follow through to step 19, getting onto B8 in Biebelried. Stay on B8 for several miles. You'll come into the city of Kitzingen and eventually cross the Main River. After you cross the river B8 goes into two lanes. Get in the right lane (it is a turn lane.). You will turn right at that light and follow it up the hill to the next light. Turn left. Follow that road for a few miles. At the second traffic light turn right (Towards Harvey Barracks.). You will pass the old entrance, all barricaded, on the right...keep going. After about 2 miles you will see the next entrance on your right (the only intersection), turn in there (If you get to Grosslangheim you've gone too far). Once you go through security and go over the speed bumps, the road curves to the left. After that, turn right and keep going. Follow that road until it curves to the left and you come to a stop sign. Turn right. You'll come up to another stop sign. Go straight and follow the road as it curves to the left. Just after the curve, find a place to park...there's the theatre. There is a banner with my ugly mug hanging outside. Can't miss it! If you get lost (after these horrible directions...?!) please call me on my cell: 0170-107-9643. Hope to see you there!

Paula :)

yes these directions are scary!!!
Kamilla just turned 6 in July.
And my sister is coming with her
son and the baby from Berlin
to visit this weekend.
But I still plan to go.
Don't get out the house much.
I will give you
a call when I get lost.

Will you all be coming? Also, do you all need a place to stay? We might be short on room. Let me know!

When I go I will be by myself (nobody else understands english good enough). Plan on traveling back, otherwise I will just need a place for my sleeping bag.

Squirrelina, you are apologizing to her? I was the mo-ron going around to all the cute dark haired girls, asking if their name was Silke. I should have just stood in front and screamed your name. ;)

Rob

...and? Did some say yes? ;)

I am really sorry, but the time I got ready it was already 630/645pm. And considering the driving time and maybe getting lost once or twice... I propably could have made it to the end-scene.
