Drag Racing in Hockenheim. If you've never been there, they have Top Fuel dragsters, Funy cars, Pro Street, Drag bikes, Street Cars and everything else in between. The Saturday night show rules with Jet cars and Top Fuelers racing at night. It's a lot of fun, I'm definetly going. Glen will race his '81 Z28 again this year.
It's not real cheap, but well worth it. Let me know if you need more info.

You must register if you want to race. Last year I was all heads up with sandbaging. IE Public race 12-16 second cars and cars that are running 11 slow down to run 12 because they can not beat the 10 sec cars. Dont get me wrong it is alot of fun but very frustrating. It is single elimination and you will get to three test and tune runs. But you must register now. I will be there If I am free.

How much are the tickets to watch. Sounds like fun. But, gonna leave the 3.4 in the parking lot.

Wonder if they have group discounts ... !? Hey Robin, maybe your friend can get the FBE folks in as his pit crew?

He can take five people as "Crew", but those slots are filled already. He might be able to get some kind of discount as part of the "BOSS" program. I'll run it by him to see what he can do.

I was just kiddin' with the crew thing ... but a crew/fan discount would probably be nice none the less ...

The place that John dropped his car off the other day. The guy who runs the shop will be down there and he is looking for f-bodys to participate. You can register your car in the races and the fastest street legal fbody goes home with a full cat back borla exhaust. He needs people to join his team so he can enter the competition.
He owns Tony's Workshop in Mannheim
Phone number is 0621-727-3144
He said to have anyone interested give him a call. It sounds like a good fun deal. You can't beat Race and maybe win something. If I was up and running I would do it.

It is best to get a pit pass then you can see the cars in the pits all of them. Each racer is allowed 4 pit crew and 1 start man who will help the racer stage. this is the best deal because it is for the weekend and you have your own bleacher area by the starting line. You will want to bring a small BBQ and drinks for Saturday night it is a huge party after the show. I should be racing and should be able to get some pit passes.

When is the deadline for registration? If I do not get my car back I will go to be in your pits. My friend Rob from the meeting will go also.

go to http://www.tonysworkshop.de then click on drag racing go to nitro olympics hope it helps you will need to register and print of a hard copy. Did sergio take his car to Tony? he can tune all late model cars and give large amounts of advice on suspension, drag racing and just about anything about cars he gives you a straight answer up front. Great guy.

Yeah, Tony knows his stuff, he's the one who built Glen's motor by the way. Another a friend of his drives a 454 Vega that runs 9's! I can only recommend him to anybody interested in Drag Racing and high performance. He got that Drag Strip in Vilseck going as well.

So what you're saying is we can enter our cars? If so I want to enter too. Even if I only get a couple of races. I plan on putting a cam on before then anyway.

I want to see the time slips...
Sounds like a blast.
Dave, if you can put a cam in, get the computer reprogramed, and work thru any bugs of the install, break in the new cam, and be ready to race on the 17 of August, all the while working with the "convience" of APO's and Auto Craft shops, then "You 'Da Man"!!!
Go tear 'em up guys

That is a long shot, huh? Well I have someone willing to do the install, it's just a matter of the APO getting it here. Programming the computer is a different story.
