Good Morning!!
I just got back from Baghdad on Friday. After much needed time with the family I finally got to check the forum. Wanted to know are there any events coming up here shortly? Do they include Auto-X and Drag racing??
Look forward to hearing from you:)
Val

Nice to hear you made it back safely! And just in time ;)
As Jack alsready said, next event is just around the corner, coming Saturday and Sunday we're doing both Quarter and AutoX again (well, Porsche does AutoX on Sat, we do on Sunday if there are people interested)

Garry,
Thanks, it's great to be back! You said that Porsche does it on Saturday and we do it on Sunday. Does that mean that I can only run auto-X on Sunday?? I know it sounds stupid but I had to ask. What is reg fee?? What time on Saturday does inspection start?? Thanks for the info!!

Non-Porsche have to register at autox@1on1-motorsports.de (forwarded to Stef from PCA GR) - Stef will probably let you drive unless they have a large number of Porsches to take part ... can't say what their reg fee is ... for Sunday, we will have the course left, probably w/o timing, though ..
Inspection for the 1on1 drag runs is scheduled to start around 0900 or so ...

Please check the 1on1 board,
I plan on changing the times because of the heat during the day.

Start early in the morning, take a long break during the day and
race again later in the evening.

BTW: No timing available on autoX on Sunday, only open for practice,
but no charge for 1on1 registered cars, others 5 Euro.

I never realized that the AutoX isn't open to everyone on Saturday, is there a reason we can't do it on Saturday if we don't own a Porsche??? Also why isn't there any timmer on Sunday???

You can sign up with Stef from PCA, problem is when they end up with too many people to get their own club members through ... send a mail to autox@1on1-motorsports.de ... he will probably let you know if you can run on Saturday ... they usually have a limited number of slots "open" for the non-Porsche cars ...
Timing equipment is owned by the Porsche club, I have not built any for 1on1 (yet ;)). So unless anybody wants to bring a stop watch ...

....the past weekends the PCA Club was running the slalom course on Saturday AND Sunday, while this weekend they go to some other
event on Sunday, but leave the cones/course set up for us, only take their
timing equipment with them.

I plan on leaving the slalom course open during Sunday for the hard core
people do NOT want to take a break from driving...
