I can be the POC. We already have the christmas tree. How long before your car is running? I am going to see Tony before Hockenheim. He seems to think I could run 12's with some koni drag shocks. Not that I doubt him, he knows his stuff.

That is kickass!!! Go try and buy up all the NOS in August, so the 5.0 guys will have empty bottles :) .

Only thing, is that since it is in Germany, I hope they have one big track umbrella.

Start preping guys if your serious, cuz if its a auto tree, you have 20secs to break the beam after prestage before the lights go down, if you arent ready and especially if you have a M6 you end up with a 2.6 60' time like my first run...(dohhhh)

Don't know if it's worth running with a lowly 3.8 stock, but I guess I might show up ...
Question: is that the Vilseck deep down in Bavaria, or what?

In Vilseck there will be bracket racing so it does not matter. It is all about how fast you say.

Good question - I've never run the car on the quarter or any (apart from the one Audi kill), heck, I've never ran _ANY_ car for time before ... :)

If its bracket the other car is just there to f##k with your head, cuz your only racing yourself. Personally, I suck at bracket racing, so I dont like it. If you can run withing .1 or less of your dial in, you will win 90% of the time. If you are a manual tranny, good luck against the lower powered autos.

No offense intended, but (garry) may have an advantage, because if it is a true bracket and he leaves several seconds ahead, it tends to screw with peoples head, and they either redlight or breakout. I personally believe that bracket racing heavily favors the slower car.

typically they will have 2-4 runs before the brackets start, or a time only session (.5hour-1 hour) to allow you to set your dial-in. Here you could play with launch points, and possible braking points if you are ahead or about to break out.

When you are practicing, dont do what I do and swing for the fence, try to figure out how your going to launch your car, and do it the SAME everytime (same burnout or lack of, same stage procedure, same launch, same shift points, same, same, same). If you are running street tires, stay out of the water pit.

Also, your reaction time, doesnt affect ET, but it will lose you the race. If it is a .500 tree, just deep stage and leave on the 3rd amber. I never shallow stage, but if you do, you may red light on the 3rd amber. (I hope I didnt get the terminology mixed up). If its a pro tree, then welcome to the jungle, it will just take practice.

Hey, how's it coming? Is this going to work out? Sure hope this works out ... are there any words from Rustang-clubs as to attendance? I guess FBE should have a couple of guys coming ...

Did you do any further addvertisement yet? Is there a web page? There are a couple of places we could notify people of this event to get some people to come and look or race ... contact me if you want/need some help with this ....
