WTF.... Again i miss out the opening event!!! 1. The tranny for the ´Maro arrives ~ the 20th of May 2. The Beretta just decided to disintegrate the rear axle including the left rear brake drum. 3. My Opel won´t take a 600 klick one way trip and racing a 2.2 litre 4x4 ain´t no real fun. 4. I won´t hike the 350+ miles. Darn. @ RT1 / Chris V6 ---> gimme a call to settle the other matters. @ Jack Z28 / Daddy ---> No use taking the parts with you as i can´t be there. @ everybody else: Have fun and smash some Rustangs for me, 2! ![]() DaR@m <--- definitively p!ssed off. |

Update on operational status: Camaro 4L60E total goner. Converter is toast. Driveshaft shows wear cracks and fissures. Splines also worn. Looks like a total driveline job. $ 3000 byebye. Spent 7 hours ripping the whole thing apart. Now i´ve got 400+ parts in my driveway.... Bless the landlord for his patience. Heck that´s me ![]() GTZ Rear axle broken. Period. Left brake gone. Looks like the engine is the only fine part left. No wonder at 40k miles. Oh, i found one little rust spot on it. Not bad on a 14 year old car. Estimated costs: $ 1.500,00 ... now you just ask me in what mood i am ![]() R@m |

I'll keep an eye out at the strip yards for a Beretta. '89 to '91 have the same rear axle. Is there any others that have the same? Such as Sunbird, Corsica, etc? Anyone else going to be at a strip yard anytime soon? |

I´m just wondering how i get it to the junkyard / on the trailer without rear axle... uhm. ![]() |

Probably the whole thing. And i´ll bring the 4x4 to drag the rest to the junkyard if you want. Have a carriage for the car, 2. Eseentially the car had a rear hit sometime and the whole wear and tear ate it up. Essentially the shocks, crossmembers and the brakes. Oh dear. R@M |
