The people on MM are in the process of having Superchips come from Tampa Fl to here for a dyno session for 2 days. The more cars the less the fee for a custome burned ECM/Chip LT1/LS1. Non-refundable and slotted for the end of AUG time frame early Sept. Price is still out there because of the amount of people. Can be anywhere on the high end of 500-600 or low end of 300-400. Still inexpensive considering THEY are getting someone over here to do this. Top tuner in the Mustang community as well and they do all makes. For details see the link. I'm the only one from here participating. For you modded guys running mail order programs this could be your chance.
See link for details. http://forums.mightymustangs.net/index.php?showtopic=1324

Don't know what planet you are from. Price a dyno tune in the states w/ wide band. Some places are even higher than the ones listed here. Only way it'll ever be that cheap is if we had a 100 people committed. And we know that isn't happening. Those prices are reasonable esp considering OUR location.

You're probably right John, but I don't feel like paying someone that much money to make the car run a little better. I think it's fine. I raised the idle a bit, and adjusted the air/fuel, so I'm quite happy with it right now.

Is this for real??? That's great! Too bad that it's the rustangs initiating it. Then again after getting stomped every time at Bitburg they need all the help that they can get... Question is, can they do it all in only 2 days? BTW, the going rate is about $550 for a dyno tune. But it takes some time, seems like if they're only here for a few days, they'll be rushing it... If I was still here, I'd do it.
One other thing, are they bringing a dyno or is there one available? Warning to all those with automatics, the Germans won't put your car on a dyno. At least not the ones up this way.

What's up with that? Have you ever asked why and what is the difference?
As far as the dyno, go to the MM page that John posted and towards the end of that thread is an explanation of a possible dyno facility.

Well like I said I don't know the price just a ball park figure so no one doesn't go into shock. That's a really good price too. Can't wait.

Hope we can get some other takers. If some of you are heads and cam w/ mail order tune this would be perfect.

This sounds promising. I may be up for another tune as well by that time, after I get my new AFR heads installed. This place in Switzerland has a dyno and uses LS1 edit to do the tune. it is about 2-3 hours from Heidelberg, but it is the only place I have found that can do both a chip tune and dyno at the same time, price is about 800 Euro though!! Way too expensive, but the only choice I have found so far. Where is the dyno located in Germany?

Nick I don't know exactly the location. I'd have to look on Mighty Mustangs for the location. 800 euro?! You aren't kidding that's a whole lot of $$. If you are seriously interested check the link and get with Phil aka 1BAD90GT. He can provide all the answers you need. Or Nazman.

SRZ,
Cool. Thanks for the reply. I will follow the link and check out the particulars and contact him. The price is way better than the shop in Switzerland. Hey when is the next Bitburg races? I will see if I have a car left after the Vette/ Viper shootout at Hockenheim ( http://www.scci.ch ) and would like to 1/4 mile it to see what she's got. Have not done a run yet, mostly road racing and high speed autobahn chases.
Thanks,
Nick

1on1 Bitburg is on the same weekend ... just two days of action instead of one ... Next date after that is July 31/August 1 ...
