On invitation to benz28 and others (opel racing team?) I go tommorow to the nuerburgring. @Firechicken: you asked about the movit pads. The installed one are BE-4m6-Pro and I got a second packet with 4 pads and they named BE-4m6-Sport-2. There is no more information (but asked movit for more info). The brakes becoming better and better but they scream like hell while driving slow thru the city. I need 3 hrs back to home from hock ![]() greets lupo |

Was nice though a bit crowded like in summer. Too bad you didn't drive yourself, with the tranny cooler and your brakes it should have been no problem. Maybe next time... ![]() Ben |

Ben, many thanks for the rounds on the n-ring. Hock this Thurs I will look that I can drive myself on the track (I´ll try to be there as early as possible). But n-ring .... I never thought that the maro ist capable of this what you show me! You forget that I have no SFCs. Your car is stiff as it should be. Mine is like wet bread - it drives not even a straight line on the a-bahn ![]() Now I know why it is named "green hell". Thanks also for the "brainwash": I do only need other suspension and the sfc ... hmm, and a manual transmission but no engine tuning. You bring me to an idea. Sven have an own workshop or something? N-ring fascinated and frighten me at the same time - I will look for an extra n-ring-car like an old kadett when Sven can help a lil´bit to prepare the car for this. Besides that I am actually look for an american military 4wheeler - so I can tow the car. Thanks Lupo |

Lupo Subframes aren't necessary at Nordschleife. Good sense is . Ionly put subframes on my car this year. Before that I ran there since 98 without them. |

Yes, sort of... he has a place where he works on his cars. I don't know if it's restricted to "BOSCH'ers" or not but you can ask him this Thursday. ![]() Ben |

Sorry for having to remind you: does this refer to the same car that you used to "kill" that Lancer EVO by out-handling it at the Solitude? See what happens when you tell tales..... |

@2slow: ![]() hmm, why do I answer that at all ...? When I have to fear BS-talking than why do I write my impressions in public? I do not restart a vindication. This misu was mine, basta! Next time I ask for the name and address and if this is their car or daddy´s. I also ask that porsche-boys about their name when they crashed their toys in zuflucht. You like to provoke? So do I: What does a porsche-guy do on an american car forum, eh? @jack: That is the right word for what I tried with to much words above. Now I can compare against others with the same car - on hock and bitburg. Now lets see what I do with the big Z on the hock at thursday. Possible some laughters are mine - I know this course from a computergame back in the 80s .... is this enough? ![]() |

That's an easy answer.....several of the FBody members are friends of mine that regularly raced with the Porsche guys at our motorsport events. You will also notice that none of the "real" racers write BS reports about their kills. They let the trackside stopwatch do the talking. Lupo, cut the BS (you left yourself wide open with your comments) and life will be much easier. We are all car enthusiasts and have no vendetta against anyone, but we are not stupid or gullible. Greetings 2slow |

Hey stop fighting! You're both nice guys in "reality". ![]() (Although I must admit this is entertaining... lol) lupo_Z28 wrote: @jack: That is the right word for what I tried with to much words above. ![]() ![]() They changed the course 2 (?) years ago. Here's a map ((c) by 2slow): http://fbodyeurope.org/files/hockmid.jpg Ben |

If you want some track training on the computer, get the "Mercedes Benz World Racing" ... they have the current layout in there ... |

Lupo , You crack me up with this stuff, If it aint one thing its another. Brother, get your stuff straight . One day you say the car is the best handling thing on the planet Quote: Then I meet that Mitsu at a traffic light and he let me hear his turbo sound - damm child. I have the original-US-exhaust because of the understatment so I don´t feel the need to rev up. At green I gave him what he deserve and blow his doors out . But he was in need of more. Thats possible, the serpentine is straight ahead boy. Come on. Follow me ..... when you can. Then the next it handles like crap. Quote: Mine is like wet bread - it drives not even a straight line on the a-bahn So what is the real deal. I guess Hockenheim will tell . i'm sure you will run into some Evos out or even a Porsche or two. Show em a lesson or two on your drift style. Quote: What follows was a drift-lesson on my favorite solitude-serpentines with traction control on and this Mitsu in my back. With "all-but-perfect" drifts and a annoying self-pumping accelerator pedal and this blinking "low traction" signal the Z pulls neck-snapping hard this very steep and wet serpentine upward.
Take care and keep it out of the Kitty litter. One more thing Studdy that map that Ben Linked to and watch all the incar video to relize this track. Since your an automatic watch your tranny temp. |

Sorry, than I understand alignment wrong. <WTF? entertainment> @roy and 2slow: When I tell sooo much BS why don´t ignore it? So much attention for a BS-talking newbie - wow you must have a lot of spare time. And that all for me? Thanks. "all-but-perfect" - is the opposite of perfect! When my car drives not drive straight doesn´t mean that I can not drive fast on serpentines where I drive now more than 13 years with different cars. Between this two things are a few months (and a servopump probably goes south). Read it again- I dont said it was perfect! Where is the point to read something in what is not there? Do you see now something inconsistently above .. yes? Then keep it. Have fun with it. I am away - I have not that time to sit before this damn computer. Ask the admin if he delete my kills when you feel that offended or search more for something not straight and have fun with it - I dont care, while I know the misu is mine (and this porsche in benztown). You let a new 911 look like an older 911 and I am getting pointed not to know what model it is? C´mon ... And no word about the fact that I showed up! Sorry when someone feels now offended while he wants to calm that all down (calm down on one side and let me look dumb, eh?). I am not the one that flinch for others peace of mind - I am no pacifist. But I am fu**ing bored of this "discussion", bye. </WTF?> Besides the above: Thanks for the constructive clue about the computer program, 2slows map and my tranny temp (I have now a cooler). I watched firechicken´s video. The rest I´ll see tommorow. If possible Ben give me some advice before the race or maybe sven drive the first rounds with me. Thanks. regards lupo |

Lupo, not trying to be the grammar police, just a little bit of education: "all but perfect" means the same as "near perfect" and not "the opposite of perfect". Regards 2slow |
