Just wanted to get a count for who is coming down, up, over, or whatever for the races. Just wondering. Also for those that don't know where to go if you want we can set up a meeting place before hand and all ride over together. Just a suggestion. Well talk to you all later.

What sign up sheet are you talking about.. I went last year and I don't remember there being one.... unless you're talking about the little one you sign when you register.....

Check my post on the other thread ... a guy (I guess he's the one or one of the ones who will do the tech checks on the cars) talked to Randy yesterday about it ... and yes, I suppose it's the regular registration sheet ...
P.S.: Anybody know what kind of track will this be taking place on?

WELL I'LL BE GOING TO THE OPEL DEALER TODAY TO GET SOME INFO FOR THE EVENT ANYWAYS SO I'LL CHECK WITH THE GUY WHO'S RUNNING IT THIS YEAR. IT TAKES PLACE ON THE OLD BITBURG AIR BASE FLIGHTLINE AND TAXIWAYS. BUT I'LL GET OUT MORE INFO WHEN I GET BACK FROM TALKING TO MY FRIEND.

yes there is a tree... as far as the directions I have no clue where vieslic is.... Where in relation to ramstien is it? It is easy to get here from Ramstien.... But it's off autobahn 1 twoards Trier.... follow the signs to trier until you see signs for BITBURG (B51 is the highway road it's on). Then once you're on the B-51 twoards Bitburg look for the bitburg brewery sign's if you want to get to the Bitburg base... or take the old FLUGPLOTZ exit if you want to go straight to the races. It's eaiser if you go to the base first because the opel dealer where you have to register is kind of hidden. Let me know if you need more or just clearer directions.

This is only 15 minutes for me, of course I'm going!! It would probably be a good idea to come saturday if you are 4 hours away. (I don't see why, frankfurt is only 2). You need to fill out a registration beforehand. Randy (92z28) and Garry have the info.

Hm ... it starts at 10? I got about 3h of driving, means I got to leave around 7 ... 'bahn should be pretty clear at 7am on Sunday, so ...
But for people coming as far as Vilseck, it may be over 4 hours at "regular" speeds - almost 500km ... (when in doubt, http://www.reiseplanung.de - works pretty nice)
Btw, anybody bringing a grill?

1. dates for this event
2. how much does it cost
3. If I get my car is back together in time I'll be there. If it's not I'll just have to catch it next season.

No no time slips it's not a very organized event.... for the miost part it's like street racing with a tree. I'll be there at 0900 on Sunday so that would be the best time to be there!!! You want to get there early trust me I waited in line last year for almost 2 hours!! Dave the early registration got canceled for some reason. But he gave me the inside line and told me to be there at 0830-0900.

Scott, did you talk to Don?? I just talked to him yesterday and he told me to make sure to pre-register. If this event is suppost to be bigger than last year, then pre-registering would save at least 2 hours waiting in line.

No I didn't I talked to Hassan... who runs the event and he told me it would still take about the same amount of time. The TECH inspection is what takes the longest. But it never hurts to pre register... I'll have to post my info. But I have an inside line that told me to show up there at about 0830 or a little eairler. We should all meet somewhere though I think.
