Ryan's DRs were getting tore up because they were rubbing his fenders...
But I agree with you all about the sidewalls on the DRs, definantly not made for auto-x.

Car show is as follows:
Quote: The show is scheduled to take place on 01-03 Oct (3rd is a German holiday) in Olkenbach, just north of Bausendorf which is located approx. 20 km east-north east of Wittlich. I called the number given but no one answered. I will continue calling and if for any reason the show does not take place (1st Rietzer Oldtimer and US Car Meeting) I will let you know.

I don't have any actual experience with the autocrossing but I've had Nitto D/R's and they handled very well. They have a much stiffer sidewall than say BFG's.
I'm gonna try to make to Bitberg this weekend. I just picked my car up from the VPC today and I just need to get the spring spacers removed and I'll be ready to go. I wish I hadn't installed the cats before I shipped the car. The inspector said I didn't need them

If you're talking to me , I'd be satisfied with a 12.7 since my setup isn't really well put together right now. ie weak 10 bolt with 3.42, crappy HTR-Zs, spent shocks, and no tune.

Too bad it rained. I really wanted to get a run in. Is that it for drag racing this year?

i was in bitburg last weekend. It was much fun, to drive slalom on wet streets. Also the Auto-X on sunday was great.
Thanks to Val and Roy, to make this happened. It was a pleasure for me, to meet you there.
Jens

I don't want to make the man commit suicide. We may have to plan for a weekend when he won't be there.
