How many people would be interested in getting a custom tune if someone from England brought over an EFILive scan tool and we rented a dyno facility for him to use? Someone at LS1GTO.com saw me and Sygoat posting and wondered how many people would be interested in him coming by to sell the scan tool and provide tuning. |

I agree completely, in fact I wouldn't even sign up for this until we know this guy is any good. I.E. he needs to post his resume. BTW I will be at graf on Tuesday (going through the inprocess brief), Wednesday afternoon (range recon), thursday (running range 121), and Friday (outprocess). ![]() |

Hi guys, Its not actually me that does the tuning. Im a European distributor for efilive, so was intending to support a UK based tuner in coming over to the continent. Im still waiting to hear back from the guy. If he is not keen would you be interested in custom mail order tunes? Im in discussions with a number of top US and OZ based tuners who use efilive, they have extensive experience and giving you the run down on their resume's would be no problem. This will allow you guys to flash the PCM and do logging etc for fine tuning spark/fuel etc if required as you can email the results to me to have the baseline updated. Richard |

Ok guys see my related thread, this is back on to those who are keen. A tune is $400US + any Dyno fees. I will be partnered up with Jessie from Waitformeperformance in the US to get you guys some good tunes. Just need to know how many, where, what you have and when. Let me know. PS: Ill also give a brief presentation on the GM ECM for the LS1, how it works and a demo of the tuning process and software for those interested. If anyone wants to own a copy Ill also have some to sell. Richard |

Hi, If anyone goes the mail order route, there's a good tuner near Stuttgart that can make adjustments. My experience with him is with the Mustang and a Pro Racer package. He picked up a lot of hp on a safe tune. Dan |

EFI Is good guys , but hang loose until the V2 version is released if you are wanting to get a copy. For those like me that have a copy you can upgrade for a fraction of the cost. |

True, v2 is due out next month (March) for testing, pre-release. Im hoping to have stock at the fbody meeting in Germany in May. I should be able to do upgrades there as well for anyone who already has it. Will also demo the software and show what it can do etc, just need to square it off with the organisers as I dont want to push anything at anyone. |

Cool, not even that expensive @ 59€ ... wonder if doing some tuning to the engine counts as one time measurement or if every run counts seperately ... |

The first time we found a lean condition and it probably saved my motor. The second time, we spent 2.5 hours adjusting the tune and testing. I have SCT software that allows adjustment of all parameters in the computer. most of the time was spent on A/F mix and spark advance. I've seen some high powered European cars in there for tuning, most of them were tuner Porsches and Mercedes, Dan |
