I'd be willing to pay the $570 to get my head/cam&turbo tuned by a pro using a dyno. It would all depend on the date though since I won't be back in germany until mid september.

I think most of us would like to do this Mid July or August. Mid-September is a ways off, but who knows.
Jeff did say that he can provide a tune for you but that to do it RIGHT he would need your car for a few hours because of how dynamic turbo'd cars are (we don't have time for him to focus on one car for a few hours). Bottom line is that because of how we are doing this, assembly line over two days, a turbo tune is doeable but it won't be perfect (recquires a lot of time).
He did say he would have no problem doing Superchargers.

Well, I'd be willing to give Jeff a shot at it. Just let me know whenever you know a certain date so I can give you a heads up if I'm in or not. Maybe I'll find someone that can drive my car to Stuttgart.

Howdy everyone, Robby pointed me to this thread, and yeah this would be a hell of a road trip.
As for cars I work with, yes, most GM's, and anything with an aftermarket fuel management system.
For the guy with FAST, yeah, unless you've got serious complaints or want some hands on training with FAST, then if you're having good success doing it yourself, then just come and hang out, no need to pay me. (Most of my FAST/DFI customers are guys who don't want to mess with it, they want me to set it and forget it.)
As for the benefits of tuning a stock car, I'll be really honest (which is why I have a good rep, I don't blow a lot of smoke and make a lot of false claims) there's a lot of GM cars that are pretty well tuned from the factory. The LS2's are an example of cars that are held back big time, and we can make a lot more power and make the cars so much more fun to drive. Automatic cars are a another set of stock cars that benefit, because I can make the trans shift so much better for you.
Fan temps, CAGS, etc, all good reasons for any car to be tuned, but maybe not enough to put you on the list, I understand. Definately come and hang out though if we can get this off the ground!
Any other questions please, just let me know I'll monitor this thread and if you want to email me privately at jeff@carolinaautomasters.com that's cool too.
Please check out the website http://www.carolinaautomasters.com I've not updated it in way too long, but there's still some fun pics and things on there.
Take it easy, I hope to see you all soon!!

Well, there you have it, who is interested?
If you are more than 70% sure you want to do this let me know what the best month is for you. Earliest we can do this is Mid-July.
Send me a private message if you are willing to do this and I will start working out how to collect deposits and reserving the dyno.
But like I said, if we get 20 cars willing to pay the prices I quoted then this WILL happen.

Can I get someone to translate my very first post in this thread into German? It would also be nice if someone who was a native speaker could monitor these two threads:
http://www.corvetteforum.de/thread.php? ... 20965&sid=
http://www.corvetteforum.de/thread.php? ... 20963&sid=
I made a post on the German Corvette forums which looks like it gets lots of traffic.
I think we can do this.

Jeff that sounds great. I'm the XFI owner. I'm going to basically teach myself as I bought the XFI dvd how to so w/ that and the base tune programmed in is how I'll learn BUT it still wouldn't mind another tune from a professional since I can store 4 different tunes at a time.
FAST GTO you can count me in. Only thing holding me back is the wire harness which should be here in 2 wks hopefully and from there I'm putting her back together so I will be in this. So you have 1 definite now.
Thanks.

My heads and cam combo are on the way to me. If I can get them installed before Jeff is coming then you can count me in.
BTW, what kind of Dyno is it supposed to be? Bosch, Dynojet, Mustang or MAHA? MAHA being the most accurate among them.
