This board is close to being dead.
We need to do some serious advertising.
Did you all come to some result about flyers and such?

I like the business card idea, I also think we should update the forum to vbulletin?
In the end I imagine it is up to us to get more people involved and have Fbody meets etc...

OK, I'll start by doing a new, high resolution (like 300dpi, 30x30cm) FBE logo ... that way, we can use it for just about anything from business cards to T-Shirt iron-ons to banners ...

Well, I guess this board is just dark and very small text.
Avatars are small etc...
With that said, this is your board so I understand you would want it the way you like.
Believe it or not MightyMustangs.net is, in my opinion, the way to go if you want to get people more involved. Obviously we need to do a good job of letting others know this site exists.
Only issue with trying to get more people involved is that you risk losing the small community feel that this place has.

Ya think? j/k. I ride in the truck now but I've got my FBE coin glued to the back of the bed. That's my advertisement. I don't talk to people when I see them in a Fbody..........something about me coming off as scary? LOL! Ryan told me that yrs ago when I approached him at the commissary so I've backed off since. ha-ha.

I was suggesting to Garry a while ago,
- since 1on1 and FBE are both running on the same server anyhow and at least 50% the people of 1on1 and FBE are identical -
to have the both boards linked to each other (english of 1on1 going to FBE, german of FBE going to 1on1)
and I am willing to pay for a stack of post cards or business cards professional made with good paper with front side FBE and back side 1on1
so those would maybe get the interest going of what the FBE folks REALLY do every month
you can even have 6 Sat night camping get-togethers during summer like a good group of the Mustangs do each time at Bitburg, knowing not everybody may make it each time, but of course some folks will be there for sure!
we could even top it and say that signed up FBE members with a combination of "1on1 & FBE logo sticker" somewhere on the car get a rebate at Bitburg race or entry.
So this are my offers to do something for our club.

What about opening it up to other GM vehicles, the gto, maybe holdens even. Nova's chevelles etc? Its good that there is a European wide board. Most are country specific.

We got more than enough (horrible) "US car clubs" in germany, probably not european ones... but i don´t want FBE becoming that kind of club....
I think we should keep it F-Body only.... of course with some corvettes, GTOs, Porsches etc

Oh Hi Ryan, yeah. Its me, voting for the holdens.
I think Rob's going to want to email you about the spoiler
Pity we missed each other at the ring. Kind of wet there too. Saw quite a few smashed cars in the carpark!
