Val man I have no idea. I am 3 weeks past registration right now. I still have your posters and flyers here at work. PLEASE send me a email with your addy so I can send these to you. If you want to come over and spend the night at the house as a half way point then feel free.

if you're over due, they give you 30 days with no issues. if you go past 30 days, you have to register it inop, then get the temp plates (you can do that at the same time no problem) After you pick up the temp plates, you can drive on them for 30 days before you have to pass inspection or turn in the plates (don't go over due on the temp plates, they impound your car 3 days for every day you're late.

Hey guys,

The June event was a blast! Thanks Roy for telling me about the F-Body Forum. I don't have an F-Body GM Product so thanks for letting others in. The Autocross and road course were great fun and I'm planning on being at Bitburg in July.

Thanks Guys,

I'm looking forward to going back to Bitburg this weekend (7-9 JUly). I may come up Friday evening. If so, I'm willing to help set up wherever necessary.

Does anyone have a good idea as to where to stay near Bitburg? Someone mentioned the possibility of military lodging nearby, but I don't have the info.

Squirrelina,

Do you race a Mopar F Body? I went by the Dodge Boys group about 4-5 times at Bitburg in June, but they didn't seem real interested in meeting new folks, so I quit going over. I didn't see any F bodies in June.

I have several early A bodies back in the states, but the only Mopar F Body I had was to grab the drivetrain and torsion bar set up for a '56 Dodge truck project.

See you this weekend!

Rob

Spangdahlem is the closest base to stay at

$32 for 1 room
$48 gets you a 4 bedroom TLF

Thanks! I'll do some surfin' and see what I come up with. A 4 bedroom TLF? What's that? Maybe I'll bring the wife and 4 kids!

Rob,

I got a '76 Aspen R/T, and I love it.
But it needs a few fixes prior distance driving or racing, and I do not have all the tools (metric/inch) nor the mechanical skills - occasionally I cruise to the next bakery

and for Bitburg I need to bring one of the trucks: for pulling the trailers with the equipment and for towing cars of the track.

If you talk about the dodge brothers, with the "loss" of their leader (he got a job) they are not what they used to be, actually they run a business in fixing those cars and they do not see a customer in you.

If you like to help with the set up, there are always people glad for a helping hand:
Garry for the quartermile equipment, James and Roy with their slalom track, and of course the fencing...

Silke,

I found the photo of your Aspen R/T on the member list when I signed up. Nice looking car!

I always look for a Mopar club to join wherever I'm stationed. I figured it would be harder to find one here. Maybe if I had brought one of my Darts, Dusters, Valiants or Barracudas they would have been more friendly. I'll just hang out with the SRT-4 crowd instead. I have a lot to learn about these front wheel drive turbo cars!

I'm willing to help wherever help is needed!

I sent in a reservation request to stay at the lodging at Bitburg for Friday and Saturday nights. Hopefully they'll have room.

I hope to see you tomorrow evening.

Rob

I won't be coming up tonight after all. I may drive up in the morning depending on the weather.
