Yep. And in the same run he burnt his head gasket i destroyed my clutch.
What a f****d **f day for the F-Body crowd.

Should have sticked to running against Mustangs.

Well, 6 hours later and one clutch set (lucky me I have the parts cars) my car is working fine again.

Best of luck to you TA. Next time we will stick to beating other brands....

Btw. The best pull with a already slipping clutch was 14.29 with a sleepy RT...

I´ll do better next time, promise :)

Still not bad for a "almost stock" Z28....

Was nice meeting ya all again! See you in August!

Squirrel
That is correct. No CATS this year. After twenty some years of having the show. It was canceled. Well I guess they get to start from Scratch. All Ican say is "Go Army MWR", thankyou for supporting the troops and severing ties between the military community and K'lautern.

We could VERY easily set up a CATS here in Worms...the FestPlatz is plenty big enough...and there's a paved pathway (new the last 2yrs) that we could park off of...I wouldn't recommend camping...but a one or two day event? Sure!

Well, it was Henry Roeder who kept doing the CATS. He also ran the dragstrip at Pirmasens in the 90's. Then he retired and there was at least a year with no CATS, but they asked him to come back for another tour to clean up and CATS continued.
With Henry finally retired for the second time now, and the 20th full, and also some other minor problems with Ktown customs and security (which I say those could be solved), I don't think there will ever be number 21.

I bet that Henry Roeder is enjoying his Mopar on the drag strip back home now.
