Hey I am Ben,
I just got on to the Austrian f-body site and they got a big meeting going on this year too. Last year date was the 11. June 2006 so this years should be around there to. It will be the 3rd f-body meeting. And if I am not mistaking you will get a trophy if you are the person who had the longest trip. Hope a lot of you guys will go and will just form a club going up there. Here are some pics of last years meeting:http: //www.f-body.at/
It is known to be the biggest f-body meet in europe. All f-bodies from 67-2002 are welcome they even have rare cars like the turbo trans am and pacecars there. I have not been there yet, but want to go there this year if they announce it. So who would like to go to Austria 40km from Wien and go to the biggest f-body event in Europe? Then we can show those porsches that drive in a row on the autobahn how a f-body row on the autobahn looks like and give them a sound difference.
Especially you Silas .

This year it's on June 9th ... the pics didn't show _that_ many cars, though ... seems like Bandit Online had more cars than they did ... !? Also, it's only one day from what I can see ... ?!

I've got a Subruban I can tow him with.
I am down though. I think we (Ramstein) could get a decent group together on our own with flyers. They could get passed out along with the FBEurope website address to get us more peeps on the board.
How far is it from here?

Cool,
Ok here is what my routplaner calculated:
Stuttgart to Sollenau(Austria): 700 km around 6 hours
Ramstein to Sollenau(Austria): 830 km around 7 hours
Schweinfurt to Sollenau(Austria): 650 km around 5 hours 30 min
Würzburg to Sollenau(Austria): 640km around 5 hours 40 min
Mannheim to Sollenau(Austria): 750 km around 6 hours 30 min
I think we could all meet on the A21 or A1 somewhere if I am right. If someone interested you can check it out to. Like I said a complete f-body string going a long the autobahn would be asome.

7 hrs?! Is this on the other side of Austria?! Damn... I'm still gonna plan for it but man that's A LOT of gas for me when I'm belting out 4-5mpg. LOL! That'll be a nice break-in period that's for sure.

Guess making it a three-day cruise or something would make it more worth while ...

How bout we all go there and trailer our cars?! LOL! That'd be a sight to see w/ 10 trailer'd in Fbod's. We would be the center of the attraction.
