We are getting together to have some grub and put names to faces. We'll be getting together @ Chili's on Ramstein and the meeting time is 1300 hrs 3 Feb 07. We'll try and get the Mighty Mustang crew to come out as well. The more the merrier right? So far we've got 4 that are in and 4 possibles.
Come on out even if you don't eat and don't have any other plans.
Time: 1300
When: 3 Feb 07
Where: Chili's on Ramstein AB

If he forgot his password, all he has to do is click the "forgot password" link and a recovery-mail is sent to him ... unless he doesn't have access to his registered email account anymore, either ...

that place was slightly expensive in the tip
ok here is the story; if you ever get mad at some german waitress for waiting too long or get bad service, or think that you payed way too much, read this:
not only that my food was served very late - many on the table were almost finished with their food - and I was just about to ask, as I finally got my "tender benders with fries". Not very hot, rather cold after a few minutes. Price including one drink $8,50.
When I got up to pay - again as one of the last, most of you were already outside - I realized that I had small $ change, not enough to pay the bill in $... but EUR 50,- bills from the machine.
Since I am always on the road between Spang, Ram, VW and I eat a lot of fast food on base and by experience with Mc, BK, Sub .... they never mind to take Euro at a rate ~ 0.80 ...
... so I automatically asked if she takes Euro while taking the EUR 50 out of my wallet and now it gets really fascinating:
"yes 1:1 you are sure to pay in EUR" and she quickly took the 50 out of my hand before I could change my mind and pulled a $50 out of her wallet (not the registry) into my hand for 1 second only "now it is like you pay with $50" and she took the $50 out of my hand, ran with both 50 bills into the back door jumping up and down for a good tt-shake telling whoever what good deal she just made and I guess she had to break the money down because it took a while until she came out and handed me "that is your change" $41.- (50 - 8.50 = 41.50 ?)
WOW.
I paid somewhat $23 for 5 cold pieces of tender benders and bad service. Of course after all I did not leave a tip on the table. I am still speachless, amuzed, fascinated, and I am still waiting to wake up and get mad.
Maybe I should hire her to collect the money at Bitburg ... or no better not, she put it into her pocket ?
