Well, either I´m dang blind or nobody has brought this up yet... Is anybody gonna be there this weekend? As I am gonna be in the vicinity anywas on early friday already I´d be happy to lend a hand with setting up etc. Otherwise, if anybody gets there early maybe a little cruise? Only shame, no F-Body here anymore So let´s start the list - Coming to Bitburg: Rampage

I am on the fence right now. Is it drag or roadcourse? What are the costs involved? How many runs do you get?
The main reason I want to go is to meet/greet. What is the most prominently attended day? What time is it going on for open runs?

Drag & AutoX in parallel, entry fee is 10€ ($ for ID card holders), driving fee is 25€ (again $ for ID card), which covers driving for all three days ... unlimited runs, if you have time to come up for Friday, you'll most likely get a lot of runs in already ... Saturday and Sunday should probably have quite a few folks there ... Track is open from 10 through 18 (with a lunch break)... Make sure you stop bye the timing trailer

Great Weekend, Jin sorry about your CV, but the Smart car was AWSOME:) How did the talk with the team go? Roy, We missed you out there brother:( I did my best yet on Autocross and I pulled a 12.6 out of the hat, sorry I didn't get to talk to the Chrysler guy that was playing yesterday, but didn't realize you were a forum guy. I'm crashing now, going on about 3 drunken hours of sleep from last night, my advice, if your single, or married and want to have a fun time, camp out on the 7th and 8th, I'll be doing it again and all these guys on here know I bleed blue, but I just LOVE all cars. The showing from Mighty wasn't all that great, maybe 5-6 and you guys had about 4-6 but fun was had by all. Chevyfreak, sorry that it didn't work out for you but was good seeing you know the way there, I get stood up alot by forum guys who don't follow up and take thier running cars with F1 blowers *cough silas* When I get around to it I'll post some pic's, yes I have pic's of the F-body's:) And the SRT 4 off the side of the hill:) I think KC10A got like 20 runs in on Sat and Sun, I know it was alot, oldboy is consistent, that's for sure:) Damn good looking car too:)

bahn about summed it all up. Congrats on the 12.6! It figures you would snag that after I leave. I will add that this was a much larger event than expected. I don't know how many cars ran, but I would guesstimate around 60+ on Sunday alone. There had to have been 300 people there also. I may be off, but either way it was bigger than anticipated. Also, it is imperative that you show up between 0900-1000 for tech inspection or you will not get to race. Thats what happened to me.

Normally, tech inspection and registration is all days Saturday and through 10 or 11 on Sunday, but we were a bit low on helpers this weekend ... 60 cars wouldn't be large ... I guess we should have had well over 100 different cars running in total over the three days, haven't done any stats yet though ...

Oh what a weekend Numbers first: Best run was a 13.445 @ 105,63 with traction control on Runs with no traction control ended in the 14s... Read: I need stickies If I had not partied from Friday to Saturday 04.30 am my reaction times on Saturday would have been better Anyway, I ran a consistent 13.5x to 13.6x - and I am satisfied with that on a bone stock car Met a few new people and talked some smack, greetz to the Mustang and Trans Am dudes and of course KC10A, always a pleasure to meet you I hope my parts get in before the June event so I can get a go at some high 12s maybe. Ride safe and see you in June hopefully! Ram

This weekend was great fun at the autocross/slalom! Saturday's course was very difficult - very tight and technical. I don't think I had a clean run all day! Sunday's course was made for the SRT-4... except for that last part. I was surprised the Smart Car handled so well and didn't roll over! There were a few injuries: Josh's distributor, James' CV joint and my, ummm... fender. I'm trying to figure out how to fit me, four kids, four race tires, tools, ice chest, chairs and maybe the dog into my SRT-4 so we can make it in June... Side Exit Exhaust and a trailer hitch are next! We all missed you Roy! Take care and get back out here soon.
