He did 9's before, but only managed low 10s this weekend ... he packed up after that run, probably his front suspension is gone, and his windshield cracked ...

Here's a (bad) handy video from that run ...

Well, he turned around behind the scoreboards, drove over the cable and got out in front of the spectators, accepting the applause and cheers ... after that, he packed up the car and drove home for some necessary repairs ... hope he'll be back with a cage and wheelie bars next year ...

And who said Bitburg doesn't have traction? You just have to let a few sessions go by to get it heated up. That was an awesome wheelie but the outcome is not always pleasant.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I know I could not get traction while I was there, but I was still learning the car.

Maybe there is still hope.

I honeslty don't think that applies this year, hell Brian, I was consistently pulling 1.7's and 1.8's on the Nitto DR's the day we were going at it and the inevitable happened to that chevy motor

If you notice though, he spins a little then catches the traction just after it.

Oh, I just got my car put back together, Centerforce DFX clutch, new header gaskets, rear front pinion seal for the axle, etc.....

Took me a few days as I ran into a few difficulties along the way, not too bad though.

Well good luck to all at King of the Hill. Let me know how it turns out. I really miss running with you guys. Joeri told me I should post on here to get with all.

Hey Tom,

I recognize those mountains in the background!

(Rob, Missing Tucson...)

You'll have plenty of good driving/racing weather in Arizona!
