updates:

meeting time will be 0930 at the main gate of Landstuhl,

meet and greet with the Wounded warriors and command directly after that.

take your passengers on a cruise to wherever you want, but be back at the heli-port (map to follow soon) by noon

1230: take a tour of the aircraft, and have a questions and answer session with a MEDEVAC crew.

1330 ish: Close up the Aircraft, start BBQ and start photos with the vehicles and Aircraft.

1600-1800, finish up, clean up and return warriors to LRMC

that is a rough time line of events.

For the folks that are not from the Ramstein/Landstuhl area - how about setting up sort of a "guided cruise"? I know my way around K-Town somewhat (know how to get to the kart track, know the McD, etc.), but I'm not really too knowledgeable about what might be a nice 1 to 1:30h cruise ...

Good idea, that can be arranged. I will also get some maps of the area, and will have them at the event

I know there are a couple nice winding roads in the area ... K-Town in the direction towards Pirmasens e.g. ... but that's only about 20-30 min ride ... plus another 15 to get back to Lahnstuhl ...

Is this for: Mission Just Us?

I went down to Landstuhl last weekend with some friends and we took some people out to get food and clothes. Most of them just wanted to go to Ramstein or to a BX to spend some money. We had a good time, although we were very limited on the time that we could stay down there.

o ok, I thought I would ask because it sounded just like something I had done last weekend. I know we had to notify the leader with how many people we had coming down and how many people we had planned on taking out that day. When we got there we signed in and waited for the people to show up and then we all left.

We "might" be able to get the plates and stuff from the Shoppette on base. I've never actually been inside, but I would think they would have them. (*Just an thought.*)

yeah, I was thinking more of prior planning, and purchases though. I'm probably gonna put up about 100 bucks to go towards ice and plates
