Here's the 2009 flyer ... there's a printable version up on the website, and we have postcards with it that you can get and hand out (I will be bringing some with me for the cruise on Saturday ...)

Thanks for posting it up. I'll miss the first one, but hopefully I'll be able to make a few after that.

Maybe I can make it back in July (Hmmmm 1 year later). Still waiting on the motor. Callies is holding the build up for the custom crank.

They just started a new rule at Bitburg, you have to have long pants and a long sleeve shirt on to race. Unfortunately I only got two runs before they kicked me off. And its quite hot there this time of year too.

Actually, it's in the NHRA rules if I'm not mistaken, though I've not seen it enforced in Bitburg yet ... who was it that told you?

Was told that too but after two runs in a winter jacket I decided to give up and drove without it again, was not questioned again.

Can´t remember who it was, think a younger guy after the bug / buggy crash.

@ Schnellttz06 - What times did you get out of it? Hope your tune is coming along well now. Somehow we never manage to run against each other :(

Our toy was running bad all weekend due to heat soak till it broke down on sunday. After 30 minutes I got it fixed and sealed on the intake side and then it finally did as expected, nearing lower 12s now.

Look forward to July (and I´ll take an overall with me as precaution for sure ;) )

Greetz,

Dino

Oh I just read this correctly now, "long sleeve shirt". I only knew about the long pants which IMHO is no problem but this shirt in the heat... :?

OK, probably whoever told you either was overcorrect, or something ... asked Silke if there was any change in the way this is supposed to be handled, and it has not changed ...

Basically, what is not allowed is short pants, sandals and other shoes not safe for driving, as well as muscleshirts or sleeve-less style undershirts ... short sleeve shirts are permitted ...

It was a German guy, he stopped everyone coming back from one of the runs and told us. Maybe he was just confused but he said my short sleeve shirt was not allowed.

Fortunatley I was allowed to do the Autocross. I got pretty good at knocking down as many cones as I could...lol. I guess it doesnt help much to have a huge front end.
