My wife and I were brainstorming on a way to make some money for our FRG. One of the idea's was to put on a car and bike show because it costs nearly nothing (make some awards and find a parking lot). Optional location pending issues cause by MWR not letting us use the parkign lot would be the NCS on Mainz-Kastel...but then we would lose a lot of local national support. Our question to you all is whether or not you would attend such an event and be willing to pay a $6 entrance fee. For your $6 you would be entered into a number of categories with the possibility of winning a plaque for 1st-3rd in that category (additionally there would be a BN CDR's Choice Award and SGM Choice Award which would get you a BN Coin). We would open it up to cars and bikes for maximum participation. Food would be provided in the form of a bake sale with water/lemonade etc... All proceeds from the event would go to our FRG. We are thinking of holding the event at the Wiesbaden-Hainerberg Entertainment Center because it has a large parking lot and is an open post making it easy for local nationals to attend. Date we are considering is 26 SEP from 1100-1500. Thoughts? |

Do you have a address to punch in my GPS for the entertainment center? I'm off that day and might be able to make it. Edit: Is 1100-1500 still the time? |
