So the people that are in right now are:

GermanGTO
BenZ28
HowdyZ_28
Garry

Correct me if any of the 4 that I've mentioned can't make it.

Roy,
Do you know if you'll be able to go or is it still up in the air?

As we're near the Ring anyway (and it's open that day) we could drive there after the Burg Eltz visit. There's some nice country roads to drive on that way... I'll check the exact directions before.

A trip up to the Ring would be killer. I'm all for that too.

So where are we going to start out at now? Wiesbaden? And end up at Scott's place for the BBQ?
Bring some side dish/desert and stuff for the BBQ?

I'm planning on doing brats and cheeseburgers on the grill and I'll have a rack of bier. If you want to bring something else or a side dish, feel free. There is a Rewe and Lidl just down the street from my place so you can pick something up there if you don't want to drive around all day with food in your car.

It sounds like Ben has a good plan. Just let us know when and where. 8)

We could use the same meeting point as last time. OR you and Scott could meet there and then meet me and GermanGTO on Autohof Waldlaubersheim A61 Exit 47, this is the way we'll be driving anyway and not such a detour from Stuttgart.

EDIT:
Yes, for the food, I don't want to drive it around in the car. Better we buy something right before the BBQ.

EDIT2:
What about 1000h at Wiesbaden meeting and 1030h at Autohof Waldlaubersheim? GermanGTO, would you come to Wiesbaden or rather meet at the Autohof?

I'll meet up with Ben at the Autohof. I'll have a cell phone with me so if you can PM me your cell # I can call you when I get there. So then it'll be 1030 @ the Autohof then?

Here are the driving directions:

Waldlaubersheim Autohof to Burg Eltz:

- drive on A61 north
- leave at exit 41 (Boppard) direction Buchholz
- drive through Buchholz and follow the road...
- to Brodenbach
- cross the Mosel to Löf
- follow B416 to Hatzenport
- leave B416 there for direction: Metternich and Münstermaifeld
- at Münstermaifeld follow the road to Wierschem
- after Wierschem the road leads to Burg Eltz

Burg Eltz to Nürburgring:

- back to Wierschem, Sevenich, Pillig
- to Roes, Kaifenheim and onto A48 (direction West/Trier)
- leave at exit 2 (Ulmen) on B257 to Kelberg
- from there continue on B257 to Müllenbach and we're almost there ;-)

EDIT:
Just that there's no misunderstanding:
Meeting for us ALL at Autohof Waldlaubersheim should be 1030h, so we can drive together to Burg Eltz. :) If Garry and Scott meet at Wiesbaden, they will join us at the Autohof then.

Sounds like a plan.
So Gary, you meeting me at the same place in Mainz-Kastel at 1000?

Ben, I believe I still have your number (have to check) but I think it would be a good idea if we all had each others number just in case. I'll PM all you my number tonight when I get home.

Scott

I can ... not sure if I can take the Firebird though, filled it up yesterday and noticed the front tire was down on air pressure ... 1.5 bar ... filled it up, need to check tomorrow whether it's a real slow leak, or if I have some screw in it ... :( so I may need to take the Volvo again ...

Scott: I've sent you a text message with the number. :)

I hope we're lucky with the weather, I'll bring the Camaro this time and I don't need rain with my tires...

Thanks Ben. So the Autohof Waldlaubersheim is just the gas station off the autobahn right? Just making sure lol

I still owe you guys my cell number (Ben: it's different than the one you have) but I WILL get it to you today.

I may not have my rear springs replaced before tomorrow but I'm going anyway. It'll just be a bumpy ride lol

Alright Gary, I'll see you at 1000 tomorrow morning in whichever car you'll be driving.

Yes the Autohof is a gas station, a parking lot and a McDonalds. Please use the larger parking lot near the gas station and not the small one at McDonalds.

Btw, does anybody have access to a place that sells replacement bulbs for the front turn signals? Last time I checked with the Opel place in Hersfeld they literally laughed at me ... got one in Bitburg then, though not sure whether they still carry them now ...

Also, can someone post some GPS coords of the 10:30 meeting spot?

Hm I don't know how to get the coordinates but it's A61 Exit 47. If you use Google Maps, enter "Waldlaubersheim".

Alright, I'll see you all at the Autohof tomorrow at 1030. Should be a good cruise. Garry, you bringin' the Firehawk or did that tire have a nail in it?

Edit: I was curious to know if all of you guys got my cell number? If not I can resend.
