This weather is too nice to NOT go on a cruise! You know we don't have long before it gets cold. So what do y'all say? Let's put something together in the next 2 weeks or so. I'm thinking about taking a cruise up to the "Ring" for a day (I still have 3 laps left on my card from last time  ) , but I'm open to suggestions.This forum has been dead for awhile now but I know you guys are still Lurking. On a side note: My car just turned 40,000 miles yesterday!!! Scott |

Not too sure I can make it - already have something planed for next Saturday, and business date on the 15th (with the "option" of it extending to Sunday ...) Weather definitely is amazing ... we've had the last two weekends on the track in Bitburg, I don't remember events there being that warm ever before ... |

I have time next Sunday (October 9). Ring is open, too. Let's go!  Alternative would be the Sunday after this one (October 16). On both days the track is open the whole day. My car now has ~ 78000 miles = 126000 km. |

i'd love to, but my car is still all apart (swapping in an LT1/T56). ive been here 2 and half years and live 30 km from it and have yet to take my car around the ring.

88GTAEd: As Scott said, just bring your daily driver! Scott: Great! Let's hope for dry weather then. I will go no matter what weather. I will however take the other car in case of rain forecast (on Saturday evening, for Sunday; forecast from today is useless for Sunday). |

So we'll meet at the same place in Mainz-Kastel about 0900 Sunday morning. How does that sound? I'm really hoping to have good weather that day. I know it's going to be alot cooler than it has been, but thats fine. It's the rain I can do without. Scott |

Actually, if it's OK for you, I'd prefer that we meet at Autohof Waldlaubersheim as on our last cruise. So I can avoid having to go through Mainz to the other side, and it's also easier for you. I'd propose around 1000h at the Autohof, we got plenty of time then to check out different places at the Ring (e.g. the Nurburg castle, the spectator places,...) which we didn't do last time. |

def not bringing my jeep. lifted cherokee on 31s lol. i just got my 01 grand prix gt fixed so i guess i can roll in that. so since im so close, and you fellas are comin from a ways away, when do i expect yall up around here and where exactly? |

Let's wait until tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon to decide if we do this or not (because of rain). If weather forecast stays bad, then let's try it again next Sunday (October 16). If 88GTAEd is only 30km away from the Ring, he could meet us directly there, e.g. the big grass parking lot on the other side of the main "Nordschleife" entrance (note that this is a different entrance than the "Nürburgring"). Also if you post your cell phone number this makes it easier. If Scott and I meet at 1000h we should be at the Ring between 1100h and 1130h. |

OK, so it looks like it's raining from time to time today and in the night and not raining until tomorrow late afternoon (at the Ring). However, at these temperatures track will be wet all day tomorrow. Not sure what you want to do? Try again next Sunday? EDIT: Scott also said let's try again next Sunday (16th). |
