Yes... BTW, have the shifting problems with your auto transmission be fixed meanwhile? I remember when we went in July, it wouldn't upshift from time to time... |

Sad to say, no. The tranny still acts up from time to time. I am totally refreshing my brakes though: new pads, rotors, lines, and fluid. I want to replace the transmission but the one I want is expensive! Scott |

Weather forecast looks good for Sunday!  If you replaced all the brake stuff and the same thing as last time is happening, the reason should be clear then (wheel bearings leading to pad knockback -- although with your mileage that would be surprising). |

That's good news for Sunday. My only problem is: my new brake parts JUST came in today and I have NO time friday or saturday to install it all.  I had planned on putting my stock shocks back on the car to loosen up the rear end when I did the brakes but I was expected the parts to come earlier in the week. I'm definately still going this sunday, just going to have to take it easy.  Scott |

We can meet somewhere at the entrance ("Zufahrt Nordschleife") at the big (grass) parking lot (the main one is mostly too crowded, so I don't use it). |

Wouldn't you know it, not only do I have a brand new brake system that I can't get installed before Sunday. But I just got my catch can in the mail today. At least I "might" have a chance of getting that put on by Sunday. Scott |

Catch can for oil, you mean? I installed the newer style PCV last year and it helped maybe a bit... |

Well, it was fun but Ed was not telling the full story. We arrived at about 1130h. Ed manage to do a lap some hours later. I did my first lap at 1730h!  This was the most chaotic day in the whole 10 years I've been going to the Ring... Still had fun...

crap, that sucks. we waited till about 1630 or something and left. sick of waiting... but yeah, one lap. almost hit all the stuff from the wreck that shut the track down for so long. |

So uh... Who is able to spend a weekday at the track? I'm thinking Thursday, 10 Nov. Ben, correct me if I'm wrong but there should be alot less people there on a work day. I'm flexible on the day. Let me know what y'all think. Scott |
