Would be really cool if we manage to do a cruise this year like we did those 2 last year. Here's my route idea: From Meeting Point == Eltville / Scott's place? to B42 to B260 north (Schlangenbader Straße)........ to B260 x L3374 (crossing of the 2 roads) to L3374 (leading through the Wispertal, direction LORCH am Rhein) (this can be used for a bit more spirited driving if not stuck behind some slow cars) (Ford Dealer at the end of the ~15km winding long road: Room to wait if our group gets split) to B42 north, i.e. turn right (am Rhein) to KAUB, turn right to Blücherstraße to WEISEL to BORNICH to Loreley (lunch there or somewhere else) Here is it on Google maps: https://maps.google.de/maps?saddr=eltvi ... s&t=m&z=11 or http://goo.gl/maps/ZcVs Of course this could be extended from the Loreley finish point, as it is only 60km (still should take some time especially the Wispertal road). E.g. we could continue to St. Goar(shausen) and take the ferry to the other side (although I'm not sure if my Camaro is maybe too low for it). Proposed date: Saturday 14 July (time TBD) What do you think? |

Then we should all come with our daily drivers.  Seriously: I will bring the RS, as the Camaro has some rear axle problems I cannot fix before. Roy will bring the TDI. Garry... Volvo? So it'd be only you with an F-Body.

1030 sounds good to me. Yes, I will still be bringing the SS.  I will just not be getting on the ferry. lol We can all meet at the Lidl by my house and leave from there. Side note: if anyone needs/wants 6 quarts of Mobil 1 5w-30 I'll bring it. Just buy me lunch and it's yours..  Scott |

Sad to say, but I won't be able to make the cruise tomorrow guys. I left for work this morning in the Camaro so I could get it washed and fill up on gas. Within a kilometer I noticed a strange rattling coming from the rear end. It continued to get worse and after another kilometers I had to take it back home. Something in my suspension is really loose. I couldn't see what it was this morning and I will not have time to get under it and find out tonight. It will have to wait until Sunday or Monday.  I hope you guys have fun and that it doesn't rain while you are cruising. Scott |

Update: As we should have at least 3 participants in the cruise -- in my opinion -- we need to postpone it further. We could try one of these Saturdays: 28 July, 11 August, 18 August. |
