couldn't find any pics of the engine though......

and it looks like the back can't be opend too :shock:
isn't it just a nice fake with a big bodykit ? :P

b) why only 202mph if it has a power to weight ratio of around 2kg/hp? (estimate)

You know why its all one piece in the back because of reinforcement fromt the torque of the engine :lol: . have fun hooking that thing up.

You don't need to open the back. It will never run enough miles to make it to first service.
I will be in VW HQ next week, will check it out and report back.

yes please do.

on a lighter note, a mid engined project has been on my mind for some time too, a friend still has an allmost brand new lotus esprit turbo (around 300HP) and gearbox laying somwhere in a barn
Now all i need is some extra space and a nice body for that :D

a 914/6 chassis number is becoming very expensive, you don't mess around with them.
