We should maybe take the time in Bitburg or similar to take a couple shots and put something similar together ... friend has a digital video camera and a Mac with Firewire, another friend has a PC w/firewire card ... should be possible to make a cool video there ...

I like the idea Garry. Maybe we could plan something out in advance so people who are in the middle of projects can get an opportunity to be present. Or we can do a test trial now and see how the end product comes out.

I had the same idea yesterday!
Cutting video is one of my hobbies
I´ve got also all the necessary equipment (DV camcorder, good microphone for deep exhausts , video capture card, SHVS video recorders etc) - we could make some kind of "teaser" or "trailer" for F-Body Europe!
I hope i can make it to Bitburg! (490km... )

My Media Player 6.4 says:
Audio Codec: Windows Media Audio V8
Video Codec: Windows Media Video V7
Nothing special...

Seems like there's something wrong with the first mirror - I downloaded again from one of the "official" sites, and it works fine ...

Man, I suddenly feel the need to drive my car. I love driving like that. Bring your video equipment to Bitburg and I will volunteer to give you some good footage. Maybe we can challege the wild videos to see who has the best vids.

Yeah, looks a bit like a starship formation from a movie.
(imagine the same scene slower with a StarWars march )
Doing something like this would be cool...

I think it's on my notebook somewhere (probably right on the desktop ), I'll put it up somewhere later ...

I guess we need to come up with a couple story-book scraps ... doing an opening V-shape (starting with a straight line) would probably look neat ... also a criss-cross would look cool, but will probably take some low-speed trying first ...

I do like the idea of the low speed pass in formation, but I am also hoping for the opportunity to do some reverse to forward moves, burn outs, high speed passes, and several donuts. I have been in Germany for almost 8 years and I miss doing all of those things. I grew up in a small farm town on the east coast and the way they drive in the video was truthfully the way I use to drive. That is were I got the nickname Krazy from. Man, I do miss those days.
Peace
