http://www.nurburgring.de check it out

they now have a decent website, thanks to roy for letting me know.KUDOS with CHERRIES on top for you roy, letting me know.

Hello everybody !! This is Sven.

I just got back from the nurburgring. I wore myself out on "the ring" for two hours and had an absolute blast at the ring. The track officials remembered me, by face and machine, not by name. I have been going there since 1997. They had no problems with me this time and it was beutiful. the only problem was last year, but that's ancient history.I will be sore for the next week but it hurts so good. Wether it is my Z28 (my wife)or my Hayabusa (my daughter) being in "the zone" is what makes me tick, and this beutiful and scenic road course which is over 20 kilometers long is gauranteed to put you there if you find challenging numerous corners with various degrees of camber, elevation changes,READ: TIRES COULD BECOME AIRBORNE, with up and down and some wiggly straights in between just to start with.

just as roy mentioned in an earlier thread, please read the safety info and obey all the rules. Failure to do so could result in you getting kicked of the road course, an accident, or worse.

they have schedules with times posted and weather situations, etc. I was going to go saturday morning, but thanks to roy I checked out the website,Sunday was good, but I had something else planned, it was closed saturday morning, plus it would be raining all day. that friday it would be open from 1730-1930 and weather was good.So I went friday and had an absolute blast.I always do.

good stuff!!!

Hey Sven
That page you referenced is a not too good. You need the one and only original webpage for opening times .
http://www.nuerburgring.de/eng/index_e.htm
This will keep you from driving all that way for nothing.
