There are some nice roads like that in Bavaria, too ... curvy, tight and with a great view ;)

That road might be part of the Dolomites. Joeri would know better since he has been in the Dolomites.

Add some rain to that and see how well the C6 Z06 does. I would like to get another chance to drive the C6 Z06 in the dry but I was so disappointed in it in the rain.

most likely it's just somewhere in the north of italy, but could basically be allso france , austria or southern parts of germany

check out the LAMBO vid, just 3 down from the z06
there you can see the dolimites

these are less green and less houses and much more rocks :ok:

seeing the vids make me want to go on vacation BADLY right now :pat:

Rain and the C5 Z06 do not mix, in the dry, the tires are pretty dang good for factory issue shoes, but as soon as it gets wet, the Z has to slow down to about 80KPH or face slipping or sliding away. I am told the newer Z06 is supposed to be better for rain driving,,,,but me, I would not take a chance with any car having a lot of power in the rain, it is too risky.

On the video, you can see a sign for a about 300 milliseconds and it is in Italian.
Ciao,
Nick

Hey Nick whe I drove the new Z06 in Bitburg back in April on B50 I was lucky to get to 80kph! Power was not an issue, hydroplaning was. The C6 A6 was night and day different. I wish I could have had a dry day to have fun in it but I took the chance that was given me.

you are a lot braver then me, if it is raining and I am in my Z06 and you see me crawling along, just pass me, but don't spalsh me, haha. I had some close episodes with the Eagle F1's and the Z06 and mucho power, does not work on the autobahns. I have a new wheel and tire package that will be better for daily driving and rain, I have some 19x11's and 18.9.5's Ace Slick rims with the Michelin Pilot Sport 2's, 305/30/19 and 275/35/18. These are the best tires for all around performance, so I might go up to 100KPH now in the rain. When the car is out of the paint booth and I get them mounted, I will send the pics.
Nick

I can't wait to see it. Still the same color I hope. Are you going to make it this year to Bitburg?
