It seems a a 3rd gen TA went to Papenburg Test Track and set the record for fastest street legal car in Europe to run the track at 407 KPH. Hm I guess the Norwegians have a loose term for street legal. Gotta give give em kudos though for a job well done.
So Stef , what did you hear about this , if anything?

wow ... what did they put in that thing? Veyron is a tank, weight-wise (isn't it like 2.5 tons?), so the T/A would have it easy to beat that part ...

Check it for your self fast TA. Once there you can click on the guys webpage.
I believe the engine is a 8.9L SOHC Donovan with the biggest Procharger I ever seen.

No no, the Veyron is about 1.8 or 1.9 tons.

My Dad found that Pollu website a while back, they've already been to the high speed street runs in Nevada. That car is awesome, it hardly has any aero mods and it can go that fast! Amazing!

yea, lol. I only need about 950 more hp to go that fast!

I emailed them and I was told they've tried some subtle underbody mods, plus some wind tunnel testing. They also had to create a tab to hold the windows in place, so the windows have to be lowered before opening and closing the doors. My windows get sucked out of the seal at 110 mph; it makes for a loud trip, so I hardly ever cruise that fast :(

I have not had a window problem with mine @ 160+ (when it was running).

Maybe something is blocking the vent on the driver side rear of the car preventing pressure release.

 at speeds above 250km/h i could stick my complete hand through the closed window door gap.
needless to say, it was a bit loud too ...
