Nice video, but what you see on the vid is 3 days worth of work if you can get a designer to concentrate that long. They are notorious for drinking coffee and smoking cigs while taking "creative" breaks. I get to see that stuff every day (only with a VW badge  ), but what's even better nowadays is photo-realistic renderings, you will honestly believe that it is a photo (complete with chrome, high-lights and reflections).
Roy, yeah I also like the Megane mid-engined cup cars, pity they don't build and sell them.

Yes the original poster said something like 16 hours, there is too much going on there to do in one sitting. I like the photo renderings but the original hand "quick" renderings are the ones I like best. Like the A1's I asked you about. They still give the mind something to think about, instead of a final product.

That A1 was my last project at Audi before I went to VW. Had to get loud with a lot of bean-counters to save the integrity of the design.

Btw Stef, did you have your fingers in the new VW roadster just presented in Detroit? Looks kinda good, somewhat similar to the Solstice/GT ....

Nope, that thing was already half done when I changed job.
I am the Design Project Manager for the next generation Golf family, so it will be a while before you get to see my work at VW.

I'd rather not comment on that one.......... (except that it is one of the reasons why the Golf sell so well).

Just read up on the Blue Sport - doesn't seem bad at all - and for folks like me that drive 25kkm per year, the Diesel with around 4l/100k sounds really good ... if you have prototype you need to get rid of, let me know ;)
