Anyone else hear about the A5 Darmstadt wreck with the Porsche prototypes that killed the 51 year old test driver Thurs night? Dany sent me a link off of N24.

Yeah it seems to be the big topic over here. Terrible indeed to say the least.

On the radio they said he went underneath the guard rails for something like 50m ... must have been quite fast ... with the road conditions we've been having too d@mn fast ...

Edit: just saw the pic on N24, guess there was no snow down there ...

That's the sad danger of low sportscars..... you easily get your nose uderneath the barrier and then you are in trouble.

wow, Stef I hope it was not someone you knew.

Also is there anyway to engineer automatic turn indicators? It seems that in the US no one is instructed on how to use them.

That I beg to differ with that. A local cut me off on the autobahn totalling my first Z.....without any signal.

However, I think it is pretty equal on both sides as to the amount of people that do not use them.

Is that what happened with this accident?

I have to agree with Brian on this one...I think both sides should learn how/when to use them.

Thats a horrible accident.
