					| What are some of the things that I should do to my car so that it won't get internal damage from just sitting around? ie. engine pitting
Also, does 43,000 miles in a year and a half seem too much?

					| the storage isn't permanent yet. but i just bought a 4cyl hupe ride that i will use to ease the suffering on my wallet. the extra cash i will save on gas will go for up grades on the f-bird. that and i have put way too many miles on my car in the year and a half i've owned it(43,000). _________________

 Phoenix
Just start it once a month and drive it on a clear day . In doing this you keep the seals from drying out and possibly cracking
you get rid of any unwanted condensation in the engine
you will nock off the rust that is attacking your brake
rotors when it sits so long
 keep your battery charged
keep ypur fuel injectors and the fuel in your tank from gumming up.
 The list goes on._________________

					| A few things you should do when putting your car away for a while:
Put it on Jackstands to insure your tires don't get any flat spots. The jackstands should be place under suspension components, not the frame. That way your suspension won't hang down the whole time.

Fill up the gas tank all the way. This prevents condensation in the tank and rust if you have a steel tank.

Keep at least one of your windows cracked just a little. Moisture may build up if you don't and you might get mildew.

 Unhook the battery.

Always make sure you have enough antifreeze in you cooling system unless you want a cracked block in the wintertime.
