I have a furry animal wrapped and lodged in my drive shaft.

It went up there one recent night, unaware to me, and the following morning when I put the LS-1 in gear and got the drive shaft spinning-

It squeezed and crushed the animal.

I knew Bitburg was this weekend, but I stayed back because I was backed up on work. (as always)

And now I got nothing done because I have been trying dislodge this animal..

Me and some guys at the MP station had no success, the Fire Chief and I had no success either

riggormortis set in and it's body was no longer flexible.

cutting or ripping apart it's body would still leave the part above the drive shaft.

It looks rediculous...

My car is dragging a pair of furry legs and a long furry tail towards the aft of the drive shaft.

I can't forget it because it will decompose and not be very good.

I am going to the craft shop, then as a last resort, take it in to Mr. Bilmier to remove the driveshaft.

CAN ANYONE ADVISE ME ON THIS?

   ROTFLMFAO.
I mean,- ohhhhhhhh, poor Fluffy  .

Get some gloves and pliers and start yanking.
Blow torch will work (dry and crumbly) but you would have to wear your pro-mask, even then it'll still stink. - last resort...
Try wrapping it up with 550 cord and tie it to a tree, then pull out.

Sven! Yank the DS out and take it off. You don't want decomposition. Been there and done that w/ my car and a 7ft python.

My car reaked for 8 mos. He was in the frame and inner shell of the car. Cutting the car was the only alternative and I said the hell w/ that. Let em' rot!. Paid dealer though w/ 2 million maggets in my carpet and the constant flies buzzin inside the car like a dark cloud! Wife didn't get in the car for a yr because when you got out you smelled like death! LOL!

OK, time to give you some good advice:
when you drop your driveshaft, just make sure that you wrap the u-joint with tape to prevent the caps from coming off. You should also mark it so that it goes back in the same position that it came out. This is to prevent vibrations. Sounds funny but it's true.
After the critter is out and it IS a marder/weasel thing (if you can still tell what it is/was), I'd tie it to the rear axle and let it barely drag. Like I said earlier, to warn the other F**KERS to stay away or they will face the same fate...

the animal is a marder/weasel thing.

All of the body is out except the head now.

I will go to the craft shop and see if I can push or tug the head out

dude i gotta see this, post a pic. It must be a pretty good sized thing to be stuck between the ds and the floor. Just cut it out, its dead and wont feel a thing.

And now, you dont want to let it dissolve natures way. There have been cars totaled for that. Once the smell takes hold of the fabric and car, it can be forever and 100 gallons of febreeze before its gone.

Poor thing ...

Hm ... wait ...

Wasn't that what tore up our cable in Bitburg last October?

Great job Sven, one down, enough to go ... Go Sven go!

The dealer (Bilmier) has the LS-1 now.

and they are laughing their heads off.

They will easily remove the marder bastard and return the LS-1 to me the following day.

This is history

Glad it's over for now. Get some diesel, soak a rag, and wipe down the areas where you don't want them to go. (Plug wires, etc) The smell keeps them away. Didn't think that I'd have to wipe down the d.s. too.
