Anyone know if they make the 555R's in something close to 245/45/17?

Also what have you guys heard about them holding up on the Autobahn as far as sidewall flex and cornering ability?

Thanks.

Dude, those tires are SICK!

That's what I run and they handle great. Even on Hockenheim and Nurburgring

So you have no issues getting them up to 140MPH and them still handling well?

Anyone know if they make them in 245/45/17

Sorry dude. I have 555 Extreme's.

I really can't tell you about the 555r's

But those 555 Extreme's are worth every penny. I can cruise over 150 with no problem.

The 555r is the drag radial tire. Is that what you want.

All you need is the 555. It is their high performance z rated tire. The 555RII is their autocross tire. For just going out and having a lil fun on the Bahn and mabey a lil track driving I think the 555 is a good investment. I am running them on my 91 in 245/40/18 and 275/40/18. I checked with my distributor they do sell them in a 245/45/17.

Your car won't even do 150. Too much down force from the shopping cart wing. :D

I would like 555RII's but I don't think they make them in 245/45/17.

The DR's would be the alternative but I wouldn't feel safe with them on the Bahn.

My other options other than getting the Extremes, which is prefered, is to get either the regular 555's, but I am not sure how sticky they are.

I definantly want something with more grip then my stock KDWS.

Your correct the 555rII does not come in your size. The 555r isa poor substitute for this . Sure it has the same tread and compound but the carcass construction is totally different. The clickies show the most common tires that are max performance or competition for your size.
Tire rack
hancook ventis rs-2 tire
falken azenis sport
The falken Azenis rt-615 doesnt come in your size . you would hasve to go up or down in size to get it Image
