Should the rear diff oil be changed at every 10,000 miles or just at the first service?

Change like it says for the first service. If you donot do any highspeed long distnce driving or sever duty usage then you will be fine with that.

Correct me if I am wrong guys....... GM Manual States " Due to a poor design of our pinion seals, you will not need to change fluid, since adding it frequently due to leaking seals will suffice" LOL....

I emailed this question to GM in the States. Their reply was very poor (poor customer service). All they did was recommend non GM supported web pages on the Internet.
I think I'll change the rear diff oil every 20K miles!!!!

I am sorry to be so boring, but i have a further update.
I emailed Zexel Torsen and asked them what is best for the diff.
They replied and told me they had contacted GM technical nd both advise to change after 5000 miles and then use 10000 miles as a bench mark.
If you drive the car hard change at 10k, if you are gentle leave the oil change for a little longer.

I have beat the hell out of my rear over the years and it still holds up great. It has outlasted 3 clutches, about to install the 4th, and managed to tear a centerforce disk in half.
And you wanna know what fluid I use in mine since the begining? Good old Army 80-90 wt baby!
