Roy

I intend using Eibach pro kits springs which are rated:
Front Progressive 377 - 600 lb/in
Rear Prgressive 94 - 160 lb/in.

These drop the car about 1.5in front and 1.3in rear.

I also intend changing the front and rear sway bars to BMR.

I have read that Bilstein HD are made for stock height and will need them revalving if the car is lowered. Or will the SLP Bilsteins be revalved for the lower springs?

Any advice will be gratefully recevived.

Jagsy
What ever Bilstein you use for the front will have to be revalved . Neither one is set up properly for that type of spring on the front.

The rear is no problem you can either use the rear shock from a 3rd or 4th gen Fbody or Nissan 300Z.

Thanks Roy.
I think it will have to be revalved Bilsteins.
I'm trying to strike up a deal with Stealth or Strano at the moment.

Eibach claims on their (german) website the Pro-Kit could be used with stock and aftermarket shocks - is this simply wrong?

Yeah I know, thats what I've been working on.

I think they mean the springs will work with stock shocks and that the springs will probably not be detrimented by the stock shocks. But, the stock shocks will not work with the new springs.

All the threads on LS1.com and CZ28.com recommend the new shocks.

So it looks like front revlaved Bilsteins (Sam Strano) and off the shelf Bilsteins for the rear.
