Seems like certain upgrades can have a bad influence on fuel economy :) ... after finally gettting some of the suspension parts in (front & rear sway bar, pan hard) and Tony putting them in, flew home ... not sure how many MPG I got, but I ran it at or close to the speed limiter for quite some time; hit the limiter several times (that's the next thing Tony has to get rid of for me ...). With the sorry excuse GM put on the car (they could have put a string in the back, would probably have been better ...), I could hardly keep the car going straight at 90+mph when going over bumps ... forget about the corners ... it's no BMW suspension yet, but a LOT better ... stays straight, and turns great ... even stays controllable power sliding ... :)

Roy, watch out, I'm coming for you at the next AutoX ... :) (well, not the next one, but after that ...)

Looks nice Garry. Sorry about your gas mileage... Red probably filed out your injectors while you weren't looking. Gotta keep an eye on him...

Well ... checked the usage ... with 220mi driven, of which 2/3 were on the way to Tony (read: with the old suspension, slow), I used 10.5 gallons ... 21.28 mpg ... I guess the way back must have been somewhere in the 15mpg range ... :)
Well, as long as we don't do a minimum of 100mph during our cruise ... :)

Seems like good news of the suspension.

Not long before I get mine done (end of July). Just can't wait. I'm doing the full job at once installing springs, shocks BMR parts the works.

It's taken a year to plan (and save up for), I just hope its worth it.

Whoa, that's bad gas mileage. I run my V8 at 120-130 for miles on end and it sure gets better than that.
