I know, they sure dont give them damn things away. I still have to put the front ones on. Right now I'm running stock up front, and Hals with drag springs out back (kinda funky I know:)).
Dont know how the Cobra runs, there is a meet next week, and we are gonna convoy to the 1/4 so I'll let you know. I'm really gun shy about the tranny and the halfshafts, so I'm gonna leave some on the table, but I figure it should run anywhere from a 13.7x-14.0x. Better and braver drivers than me have got them down to 13.2x's, so we shall see.
Will be good to compare though, cuz it is stock from the front bumper to the rear one, even gonna run on the street tires.

yeah...errr...ummmm??!!
All BS aside, the 8.8 can be made as strong as the 9inch. I'll put it to you like this, not to many people blow a rear end out after they have went to a 31spline axle.
My 93 with a E303 cam and GT40 intake put 209rwhp down, probably about 215 now, so that would be one serious factory freak .

I am sure it would be cheaper to build a 8.8 with upgraded axels. Bummer
