I wonder if Eibach pro kit springs and Hotchkis springs fit a V6 4th gen; in some catalogs it says "98-02 F-Body" and in others "Camaro V8".

Can someone help?

TIA

I´m sure they will fit, but if they´re V8 springs, are they not too hard for a V6 on the front? (Because the V8 engine is heavier the front springs are harder, aren´t they?)
Assumed there is something like "too hard" ;)

Good point. There are some racers on a budget and they use V-6 springs in the back because they are "softer" and they get more "squat" off the line. I assume that since the V-8 springs are stiffer, they might not lower the V-6 cars much if at all and may give a rougher ride. :dunno: I'm sure that someone makes springs for the V-6ers out there.

Sure!

@99 V6 Camaro:
Try the suspension section of the Modificaton Encyclopedia from the FirebirdV6.com /CamaroV6.com Message Board: http://mods.firebirdv6.com resp. http://mods.firebirdv6.com/suspension.html

They have listed all springs (including part numbers) that will fit a V6 (3.8l and 3.4l) :)
I have the Eibach ProKit (for V6s) and like it.

ChrisV6, where did you get your springs? I'm on a budget for these and I'm afraid I'll double the price if I order in USA from Jeg's or Summit. :shock:
Any adresses in Europe?

Many thanks

I really want to help, but I got my set via some strange ways :lol:
A friend of mine (working for a big german "component supplier of the automobile industry" with good connections) ordered it directly from Eibach Germany. First they said they will not import just one set, but after 3 month they suddenly sent it to me. Wow. ;)
With tax, customs & shipping I paid 300EUR, so you can see how much profit they make under normal circumstances...

I also got my Bilstein shocks directly from Bilstein Germany :)
