Hello,

I have problems with my 99 camaro Z28. I bought it last year and they has APEX springs and the original shocks. In my opinion, the car is a little bit to low. Has anybody experience of the eibach springs or other ones? How much is the distance between the middle of the wheel and the fender?

Maybe, I am also interested in the original GM springs (for more comfort). Does anybody want to sell it?

Thanks a lot and sorry for my bad englisch.

Rene

APEX springs really bring the car down. Like 2" I believe. I believe we had someone here w/ them at one time but it slammed the car. Best way to guess your height is see if you can put 2 finger in between the tire and wheel well. If you can then your ride height at minimum is 26.5 inches and 26" at most. You may want to ask around and see if any one wants to trade w/ you if you are looking for a stock ride height.

Eibach Sportlines put you to the ground and the Eibach Pro's will do 1." drop w/ a better ride. Your shocks are designed around those APEX and that's why your overall ride quality suffers. Hope that helps.

Personally, I have the BMR springs, and they dropped my car about 1 1/4". I love 'em to death!
