I just installed some relocation brackets to cure bad wheel hop. I know it will adversely affect handling some, but how much should I expect? Will it scare the crap out of me, or just be a little worse? Just don't want any major surprises.

You probably willnot even notice the difference unless you are really pushing it through a slalom. Lowering the rear portion of the lower axle control arm will increase roll oversteer . This can be a good or bad thing depending on how much oversteer it is.
