We bought our car not to long ago. Then we had to get new tires cuz it was excessifly balding the outside. when we had the new tires mounted in september we had it realigned. It's now only december and the tires are starting to become bald in the same area. I read in a couple places that it might be due to worn out bushings. i was wondering if any of you have had the same problems or thoughts on the subject. and if you know of a good place with parts etc that'd be helpfull too.

This may be a crazy question, but did you have it aligned after replacing the tires?

Does it have the stock k-member and control arms?

Who did your alignment?
How hard are you driving it into corners?
Have you hit a curb or other object lately?

Possibly bent or worn steering and suspension components.

with it only balding in some spots, I would look into the caster and possibly front struts/shocks

Does your steering seem responsive. I mean as soon as you turn the wheels turn....or is there some play there?

Really, there is a bunch of different things that could be causing your problem. It is best to get it up on a lift and move the steering around. If you cannot find anything loose in that system check the bushings in the a-arms and the struts and mounts. You should not be encountering the wear problem. Something is out of wack.
