hello everone. my name is sven. i'm in vilseck germany under the clan led by the infamous HAWK. I have a black 93 Z28 LT1 automatic that is K&N equipped, performance chipped, deristricted exhaust, upgraded suspension and some other little things that was done by a prior owner. my pedigrees are actually in high performance motorcycles(i own a modified 99 suzuki gsxr 1300 hayabusa) but ever since I got up with f-bodies last year it has been a wonderful experience. All of you guys are downright awsome- especially the infamous Hawk!

the camaro is doing great. it even feels a bit more nimble now but I know that is just me. Roberto with the silver firebird said someone had some parts come loose due to putting their f-body through it's paces. do you know anything about it and if you do know do you know what parts came loose? mine seems okay, but i haven't put it on lifts yet.

Dunno, but my rear brakes are all messed up. Schreech all the time.

Putting the car on the lift on Saturday, then i´ll see.

gee, thanks for letting me know about that rampage. once you have made any repairs needed to the brakes you know they will work well when pushed hard.
Hey, Hawkmaster, the Infamous One, if or when i finally decide to do some more mods i guarantee you that you will be the first t know. I'm good for now. there is nothing I wish to change right now.

Thanks to firechicken I also found a couple of things that needed to be taken care of. My front brakes were pretty much gone. But what can you ask from original brakes that have 30,000 miles on them. AAFES actually believe it or not had some pads in stock and I replaced them on the spot Everything else seems normal.

SVEN, I found the bolt on my panhard bar loose, 4 turns from coming off. tightened it up and everything is good now. I think the cause was that the parts where installed 2 days prior to the event in Bitburg. Glad your on board, hope you enjoyed the auto-x at Bitburg as much as I did(it was my first time too). I have the 2001 blue WS6. Hope to run into you again!

That is better than bending a valve.

Hey Sven, welcome to the board! I look forward to seeing everyone at a meet sometime, if RT1 and I could just get one working FBody in the household! Hey, be careful stroking Hawk's ego like that...I wouldn't want to be around when it finally explodes...;)

AY PT, THAT'S FOR SURE. SOME THING WITH FEATHERS AND BITS OF METAL FLYING THROUGH THE AIR. THE BEAK IS RAZOR SHARP TOO.

WHERE YOU AT THE ROAD COURSE THEY HAD SET UP WITH CONES AT BITBURG? ONCE OR TWICE THAT HAWK SPREAD IT'S WINGS AND ALMOST BLEW HALF CONES ON THE COURSE AWAY .

WHEN THE INFAMOUS HAWK WASN'T TWIRLING ABOUT EATING CONES AND RUNNING AWAY WITH CONES UNDERNEATH IT'S MOTOR HE WAS FASTER THAN EVERYONE ON THE COURSE (MINUS THE INSTRUCTOR WITH GTS PORSCHE)

INCLUDING ME.

THAT BIRD IS WILD.

I WAS THE SLOWEST.

BUT I DID NOT KNOCK A SINGLE CONE DOWN

I BUMPED ONE THOUGH, SPINNING THE TIRES ACCELERATING FROM A 90 DEG LEFT HANDER.

Sorry Sven, we weren't at Bitburg. I spent all day that Friday puking so, needless to say, I wasn't up to spending a couple of hours in the car to get there. Then my dear husband RT1 discovered a transmission problem with our one working vehicle, my Z28, so we ended up not having reliable transportation to get there at all. I wish we had been able to make it, seeing a hungry Hawk sounds like it would have been fun. I really just wanted to see the Hawk fart flames, but then again, I'm a little weird. :)

firechicken, you know me. i think we first met in graf right down the street from the checkpoint and that other club-i forgot the name- heads? beds? deads? reds? ed's?
did you drive out a certain gate just past veh reg around lunchtime wednesday 22 may? if you did i saw you on camera.
if that was you make sure you come to a COMPLETE STOP at the stop sign just as you pass the gate shack after you go through the gate. there is a camera strategically posted with a 360 deg field of vision.
