Hey Everyone!
I can't exactly say I'm new to the site--I've been looking over my husband's shoulder now for, what, almost a year? He's Rob, RT1 to most of you, and it was really tough not using RT2 as my user name. PT are my initials, so please don't go thinking we'd waste money on a PT Cruiser--what a funky looking car. Speaking of cars, I know almost nothing about them other than how to drive, and Rob will disagree whole-heartedly on that one point. No, I finally registered for no good reason other than to hassle my husband. I'm happy to be here, you might hear from me often if I can get past all the car lingo that has me going cross-eyed, and maybe I'll finally learn something. Ciao!

Hi PT
I saw your post on visitinh UK. I comment on that later.
Are you generally interested in F body's or do you just drive them.
I'll have to introduce you to my wife, then I can have the keys for a go in the Z.
I just can't get her out of the thing. She just loves burning off cars from traffic lights.
Anyway welcome to the board

Hey Jagsy, thanks for the welcome!
I was never interested in F-Bodies, even after Rob bought his. For about the first year all I would say was, "Silver. I can't believe you bought a silver car." so I'm sure you can see where my interests were. That was a long time ago though--lately we've been looking around the web together, finding some great extras we'd both like to put on the 'Maro. In fact, I'm heading to the bank Monday to see if I can get a Camaro of my own, a black 1995 Z28 from another board member, Tres. Then I won't be just an enthusiast--Rob's hoping I'll get my own set of coveralls and become a gearhead in my own right. Sure, that's gonna happen. I just want both of us to pull up to a meet and hear, "Yep, there's the Tedrow clan."

That's pretty cool. Give's Rob an incentive to bump up those horses a little more.

Dave, she is going to go get in her Z one day and find the LT1 missing. All a part of my control of the world plan. (Insert evil laugh here)

Well, I figured, I need a new car anyway. The ol' '88 Nissan has enough rust holes in it to drain spaghetti. May as well get something that kicks a$$ and looks hot! At first, sure, all I'm gonna want to do is drive fast and piss people off with my tail lights, but later on I'm going to learn a thing or two. I've already got some new rims picked out--too bad I'm quitting my job. Of course, I shouldn't even get my hopes up--haven't even gone to the bank for the loan yet. We'll keep you updated.

She almost beat me at Bit running a 9,334 in my car, then luckily i ran a 9,217 - phew.
Best of luck to you Paula. Hope you get well for Nuremberg this friday or one of our little Diner meets sunday.
Will ring you up later.
