Hi everyone,

I just found this board. I've been in Germany for 16 months now and am unfortunately stuck driving a Golf. My cars are in my sig. I look forward to meeting some more people around here that can understand why I have a picture of my car on my desk, a continual stream of f-bodies as my background on my computer and why I was so depressed last Tuesday.....

I think I'll have a look around the board now,
Later,
Bill

Hey welcome to the board Bill. Sounds like a nice WS6 you got there. You need to post some pics of it. Where are you stationed at? Hope to see you at one of the meets...

Rob

I probably should have mentioned. I'm an automotive engineer at a transmission component supplier. I'm here for 2 years total to learn about CVT transmissions. I'm in Southwest Germany by Baden-Baden (about 160 km or so south of Frankfurt). Also I re-read my first post and it isn't very clear; sadly, my TA and Chevelle are still in the States.

I need to learn how to post pics, then I'll be glad to.

Where can I find info on this Bitberg event at the end of the month? I think I'd like to go to that.

Thanks for the info.

I looked up the site and it looks like a good time. I'd say I'm about 90% sure I'm coming. Just need official permission from the girlfriend....

Would I be able to run a Golf TDi (90 hp!!!!)? or would I be holding everyone up with 18 second runs? I think I would be alright for the autocross.

18s is OK - we've had slower ... as long as it's not 30s or similar ... ;)
