I'm Fred, a french Camaro owner since january 2000.
My car is a 99 V6 A4, bright silver metallic; it's all stock.
I use it as a daily driver; it's my 1st US car and I am very satisfied with it.
I take part in US car shows in north-east of France every time it's possible.
This website is very useful for me, because US sites often don't meet exactly my needs (european camaros are a little different than US ones).
Thanks to the webmaster and all the crew for making this site.

Welcome to the board. Glad to hear that there are some Camaro owners in France. Where do you live? Is it close enough to come to Saarbrucken or somewhere in that area? I am interested in US car shows in France if they aren't too far away. Hope to meet you someday.

welcome! Hope we'll see you at a meet or two, or on the track ...

I think we should have a FBE wine tasting event.
Hi and welcome.

Thank you for the welcome.
I live in north east of France (town name is Chaumont), but a bit far from Germany though.
I'm approx. 250 km from Saarbrucken; I've gone 3 or 4 times to Chambley (drag racing show), near Metz. It's a former US air force base used during ww2.
I may go to Saarbrucken if you do a US cars meeting.
Anyone, tell me if you plan to go to a meeting in France.
If you want, I could give you events dates and places not far from your town. I have a subscription to "Nitro" magazine and they give all french and many european US cars meetings.
Bye
Fred

Hm ... you're about 400km from Bitburg - some guys here in Germany driver further for the drag race weekends ...

Fred, why don't you post some of the shows in France in the events section. I might try to make one or two. I live about 30 minutes from Saarbrucken. Hope you can come up this way sometime.

Well, the good ol' 98+ V6 is a bad engine, the old 305's can't really hang with it ... beat a 3rd gen TPI in Bitburg a year ago, and had pretty much fun running the 6 events (Sembach and Bitburg) ... speed's not everything ... oh well ...

Bonjour Fred, je suis tres heureux a faire votre connaisance et j'espere que tu aime cette website.
OK, I was bluffing a bit but welcome anyway. BTW, I have a slightly modified V8 and I chased a mate in a 3.4V6 the other day and there wasn't much wrong with the way he threw it around.
